  1. Hi Gaurav, This is the cable that I bought from Guitar center that works. PXF105 PXF-105 XLR Female to 1/4" Male TS Unbalanced Interconnect Patch Cable 5 ft.
  2. Thanks Brad! I was able to figure it out with your help!
  3. Hey everyone, I've noticed an interesting observation. I've owned both the CT-X700 and CT-X5000 and for some reason, I've felt that the sound coming out of the ctx 700 is more rich and sharper than the sound produced from the ctx-5000 keyboard. I don't know if anyone else has experienced this. Is there any explanation for this? This seemed contradictory to me as the ctx 700 is on the lower end of the CT-X series.
  4. Hey everyone, So I recently got a new ctx5000 and I tried to connect my microphone to it. I'm using a balanced trs to xlr (male to female) microphone cable to connect the Behringer xm8500 microphone to the ctx5000. I'm unable to get any sound from my speakers when I try to speak through the mic. Can anyone help me out as to what's going on? Also, both the cable and the microphone are new. Thank you!

  6. Thanks for your help guys! Any idea of how I can turn off the sustain for one tone while leave the sustain on for another tone while layering both tones? I just got the ctx5000 today and I'm having a hard time figuring it out. 🤔
  7. I need to adjust the decay time for the strings. Is there any specific option for that on the CT-X series?
  8. Hey everyone, I'm currently the owner of a CT-X 700 and am quite fond of it. It has a lot to offer for a very low price. However I was recently considering upgrading to the CT-X 5000. I'm currently held up on purchasing the CT-X5000 because of one limitation that I've observed. Whenever strings are played in the Casio series and the sustain is held, it seems as if the strings never fade once you strike the note on the keyboard. This eventually creates a mush of sounds when you hit other notes which eventually makes its very difficult to play. In the Yamaha keyboards, whenever strings are played and the sustain is held, the note will gradually fade away once the note is struck while the sustain is being held. In the Casio series, the note will literally never fade until the sustain is released. Is there an option in the Casio CT-X 5000 to modify the sustain length of the note (when played in strings) so that it eventually decays into the background while the sustain is held. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.
