Hi Greg - In the data editor photo you attached it is showing Zone 2 as "not-enabled" - not sure if that has something to do with it or not without seeing the rest of your settings. One thing I did that was very useful load in some stage settings into the editor and disabling all but 1 zone and then experiment with different sounds, filter settings, effects, etc for that one zone. It gave me a real good understanding of the PX-5S sound architecture.

I'm curious too. It may be as simple as they never tested rechargeable alkalines so they can't sign off on them. Good question.

That MZ-2000 looks like a cool workstation! Glad I'm not the only one with synths that have 3.5" drives. Reminds me I need to order some more.

I asked Mike about rechargeable alkaline batteries and Tokyo said "no go", so it seems to be more a rechargeable issue than a alkaline issue. And yes that KC-110 is a great little amp. I like all the inputs - can hook up a mic, some keyboards and run ipod or lap top audio in as well.
