  1. I've updated the link to the user manuals. Thanks for pointing that out. The link has drop down menus now to select the appropriate manual. https://www.casio.com/intl/support/electronic-musical-instruments/manual/ To record audio, basically you need to put the keyboard in audio mode first by holding function button and pressing the F#6 key. That should do it. Press record and go from there.
  2. Other than trying out all of the preset organ tones to find one suitable, I don't have much advice. The CTX series has some tone editing abilities, but the basic timbres are unable to change.
  3. I would start by checking the power supply. It can run on batteries so that would be a good way to isolate the power supply.
  4. This is the UK support site... https://www.casio.co.uk/support
  5. Jump to 3:20 in the following video to see what it should look like....
  6. To clarify, this is what you are looking for in the controller menu. 1. Press MENU 2. Press Controller 3. Press pedal edit You should find the following on page 1 and 2 of the menu.... Upper 1 Enable Upper 2 Enable Lower 1 Enable Lower 2 Enable Turning those ON or OFF activates or deactivates the pedal for each part. See page EN-76 of the manual for more details.
  7. Press menu>controller and edit any controller you want to change. Each one has upper or lower enable, turn them on or off as needed. Save the setup as a registration.
  8. Can you share a photo where the remote controller was advertised? Casio Music Space is compatible with the CT-S500, however features available in the app depends on the keyboard model connected to it. The remote controller feature of the app is generally not compatible with portable models. This feature is only available for 88 key digital pianos, with the only exception being the portable 76 key CT-S1. Here is a list of models currently compatible with the remote controller. As far as the music player, here is information about compatible files and more. Basically it can play standard audio files stored on your phone or tablet, or play music from streaming services.
  9. A USB flash drive can be used to import user songs from standard MIDI files. Copy files to the flash drive on a computer then transfer to the keyboard, install them using the media load function.
  10. Not necessarily the last update. The date could be unchanged from the first version.
  11. The date must be in the firmware of the instrument. Each model I have produces files with dates that roughly correspond to the date of early software development for the model.
  12. Yes, it has some tone editing abilities the PX-S7000 does not have.
  13. Good question. I'll see if we can find someone with answers. I don't know the answer to this one.
  14. A USB flash drive is used to transfer converted sample data to keyboard memory. Once that is complete, further editing is done through the MIDI connection.
