  1. Brad Saucier's post in settings changing as I play without touching sliders or knobs was marked as the answer
Just to update this, it was solved.  The original poster asked this question in the Facebook group where he solved it by cleaning the sliders and knobs.  Judging from his statement that he is simply using this as a piano 90% of the time, I suspected the sliders and knobs are rarely used, if ever, which could lead to erratic operation.  This is simply how any potentiometer behaves with age, certain environmental conditions and lack of use.  I always suggest simply turning the knobs, sliding the sliders, and turning the wheels occasionally.  They can clean themselves and remain in good condition.
  2. Brad Saucier's post in Casio CT-S300 will not connect was marked as the answer
Two things are most common issues, the cable itself, and Android settings.  The cable has to be capable of data transmission, not just charging.  Some cables will only charge devices.  Now, in Android, the USB connection has to be set to MIDI, not file transfer or any other setting.  To do that, swipe down the notification shade and look for a USB notification and tap on it.  Select MIDI from the menu.
  3. Brad Saucier's post in Keyboard doesn't play midi sounds was marked as the answer
MIDI is not audio.  MIDI is a set of instructions, sort of like a digital form of sheet music or music notation.  The USB connection only supports MIDI.  It does not support audio.
  4. Brad Saucier's post in PX-850 won’t turn on was marked as the answer
Just to be clear, this is an independent user forum.  Casio is not able to respond to service requests here.  They have a service contact page as posted above.  Each region of the world has their own unique contact page.  You'll need to search the web for Casio support in your region.

Casio support covers these under warranty for a period of time.  This is done by contacting your original Casio dealer first, and then Casio support if the dealer is not able to assist.  After warranty has expired, any qualified service tech can offer assistance and repairs.

Unfortunately power issues are either a faulty power supply (the AC adapter or the outlet itself), or a fault in the instrument (buttons or circuits).  It's difficult to help diagnose and repair these things through a user forum.  If a DIY solution is desired, you'll need to know something about diagnostics and repairs.
  5. Brad Saucier's post in How many MIDI channels are on the 560M? was marked as the answer
PX-560 MIDI input is 16 part multitimbral.  The keyboard itself is actually 48 part multitimbral (16x3), with a port selection switch to access the three different 16-part groups.
  6. Brad Saucier's post in Remember last used Tone after switch off? was marked as the answer
It's called "auto resume".  It's in the function menu under "other".  Turn that on and you're good.  Welcome to the forums!  Enjoy your new CT-X3000.
  7. Brad Saucier's post in USB out was marked as the answer
I don't recommend it.  USB MIDI is only intended for software MIDI applications on a computer or mobile device.

There are hardware workarounds to connect, but keep in mind USB MIDI IN on the PX-S series has an independent MIDI sound source not connected to the keyboard sound source.  Tones must be selected by MIDI and DSP type tones may not sound properly.
  8. Brad Saucier's post in Getting A Different Sounding Patch Depending On Source was marked as the answer
PX-560 has a 48 part sound generator.  General MIDI can only access 16 at a time.  Port A is the way to access the 16 parts used for local control of keyboard performance parts like upper and lower tones and rhythms.
  9. Brad Saucier's post in Accompaniment volume control by expression pedal was marked as the answer
Expression pedal is only for expression control of upper lower tones.  Accompaniment volume can be adjusted by the dial when the function menu is open and accomp vol is selected.  Unfortunately this model doesn't have an automated accompaniment fade out function.
  10. Brad Saucier's post in unzip file was marked as the answer
Unzip the file first.  Right click on the file and you should see an unzip option (extract all).
  11. Brad Saucier's post in Pad phrase question was marked as the answer
Okay, gotcha. I was just making sure. Here's what's happening.  That pad phrase is currently set up to playback through mixer port A, part 1.  Upper 1 keyboard play is also set up to use mixer port A, part 1.  A single part can only play one tone at a time, not two.  What we need to do is change what part the pad phrase is using.  You can go into pad part settings and change the assignment.  Choose a mixer part you are not using for any other tones.
  12. Brad Saucier's post in Casio wk 6600 recording tracks question was marked as the answer
Most any Casio keyboard in the last 20 years or so with a multi track recorder like this has what's called a system track.  The system track is designed to record rhythms, upper and lower tones, and other features that's normally played live on the keyboard.  If a model has a feature called "easy record" like the WK-6600, that will automatically select the system track for recording.  Other tracks in the recorder are known as solo instrument tracks, used when you want to select a single instrument tone and record with it.  On the 6600, you can use the left and right arrow buttons to select the different track types for recording.
  13. Brad Saucier's post in Stage Setup with a linked phrase question was marked as the answer
You'll need to separately transfer phrases from one PX-5S to the other, preferably in the same user phrase number location.
  14. Brad Saucier's post in CT-S1 MIDI output only - no tones, possible? was marked as the answer
Yes, turn off local control.  It's the lowest F# key.

    Drivers are not necessary.
  17. Brad Saucier's post in Computer Doesn't See the Keyboard While Connected via USB was marked as the answer
Two USB ports are on the keyboard.  To be clear, are you connected to the USB type B (to host) port?
  18. Brad Saucier's post in Smartphone software for PX-S1000 is now CASIO MUSIC SPACE. was marked as the answer
Open "Piano Remote Controller".  You will see "Sync Settings" with an option to "load app settings to instrument", or "load instrument settings".  Select "load app settings to instrument".  The app can store up to 4 different setups for send to the piano as desired.  More info from the user manual here.
  19. Brad Saucier's post in MIDI Driver needed (WK-3000) - Windows 10 was marked as the answer
At the keyboard, connect the MIDI IN plug on your cable to the MIDI OUT port on the keyboard.  OUT goes to IN.  IN goes to OUT.  Do not connect OUT to OUT or IN to IN.
  20. Brad Saucier's post in How to rename a recorded song ? was marked as the answer
You can name the file during the process of saving it to USB flash drive, after pressing save in the media menu and selecting the type of data and corresponding recording.
  21. Brad Saucier's post in Pedal compatibility was marked as the answer
Unfortunately CDP-S100 does not support triple pedal units.  It doesn't have an input port to connect one.
  22. Brad Saucier's post in Registration naming was marked as the answer
Hi Rich.  Welcome to the forums.  Unfortunately registration naming is not possible.
  23. Brad Saucier's post in [Question] Hex:U: name changed when press +/Yes then -/No button. was marked as the answer
Stage settings can store unique tones within their own memory structure.  Those tones only exist within that stage setting.  You can export the tone for use in another stage setting by pressing write>tone and proceeding to store in an empty user tone area.
  24. Brad Saucier's post in Phrases (or songs/midi) - pianokey trigger was marked as the answer
It's possible to play a phrase by pressing a key.  The arpeggiator in each zone can be configured to play a phrase.  It's not possible to assign a different phrase to each key within a zone.  It's also not possible trigger a MIDI or audio file from USB with the keys.
  25. Brad Saucier's post in Best Fit weighted keys for a full time musician... need usb and midi was marked as the answer
PX-560 or PX-5S.  5S has more MIDI controller specific features.  Others with MIDI ports are PX-360 and PX-350.  All of these will have the same physical action as the later CDP models, not to be confused with CDP-S models (different action).  All of them have similar drum kit tones, but the 560 and 5S have detailed drum kit editing tools that dedicated drum machines would be jealous of.  All of them have 1/4" line outs.
