  1. Thank you very much for the reply jockey man, indeed the advantage of the 88 keys is great and with the modulation wheel you can have really good Leslie organs or drawbars. I think I would end buying the 8000WK and I understand the engine sound, but hearing some YouTube videos is not soooo bad for daily music playing on my home, since I will not take it into gigs or live performance but I think even though it should perform very well. Maybe there is another user with the experience with the keyboards but thank you for your review!
  2. Bump, is there anyone that got these keyboards that can share their grain of rice between the throw keyboards? I appreciate it!
  3. Hello community! I am looking to buy the 8000 WK keyboard and I wanted to know if it is a good purchase over the more recently 7600? I know the additional keys and the bars in the organs are a factor But I know that the modulation wheel is kind of the same. Thank uou
  4. You are the man! I did that and now I have the keyboard fix thanks to you. I was down because I did not know if it will work both speakers , but now I am over the moon. thanks again.
  5. So basically I was using Midi USB, yesterday Arrive the cable for the R/L inputs and I tested some external speakers and both L/R worked...but the problem Is that I control everything from the volume wheel on the Casio. The internal only working left speaker of the Casio Is making sound so I have the two speakers working + the one speaker in the casio when I press of a key, my question will be how can I mute the sound from the internal Casio speakers and have the external speakers working with the cable L/R? Thanks hope it clarifies a bit.
  6. Thanks for the response, unfortunately When I turn that off everything is off my speakers and the Casio speakers. Thank you
  7. perfect, just arrived my cable and I tested and it worked!! the sound is coming from both speakers. The issue is that the Casio left only speaker is still throwing sound. Is there a way I can silence the internal speaker of the Casio and have only the speakers to work? Thank you!
  8. Thank you for the reply @Brad Saucier I just ordered a cable and now is too late. At least I can try and see. I was able to connect it via USB midi and now I have audio via 2 speakers, so at least is that now In another topic is: is there a way to transmit the Casio WK 6500 assign different sound instrument via channels? Like channel 1 Piano, Channel 2 organ and then switch seamlessly between sounds? Thank you!
  9. Dear community, yesterday my internal right speaker died, the cables internal black and red in the internal speaker the soldering was not quite good and got disconnected. I am no solder myself and I am unable to repair this due to not have transportation. Now my question is If I buy a 1/4 mono plugs to 2 RCA cable to the L/R inputs on the back should the both external speakers work individually or it will still work 1 speaker since the internal speaker on the Casio is loose? This is a very important question, due to maybe I am able to fix this issue momentary and appreciate any response to help me out on this. Thank you all!
  10. Thanks for taking the time on response man, and yes you are absolutely right by this price range the capabilities of this workstation is amazing! I would definitely mess around about the rotary and maybe I can assign to the quick recall buttons to have like one patch of organ with huge rotary and the other will be normal one. Thanks and stay safe!
  11. Dear all casio players, Hope you are doing fine, I was wondering due to this keyboard has huge capabilities and things to do, I know that there is a mic input that you can use and I was wondering if somehow you can emulate a vocoder using a VST or maybe another workaround? I love 80' and 70' disco and city pop music and I was trying to see some VST'S but seems to edit pre recorded tracks instead of real time vocoder Thanks in advance for any inputs. Kind regards, Seba.
  12. Hey T,. Thanks for the reply and the information, unfortunately this option is for the digital keyboard in built option to use and not for MIDI in use system. My inquiry was reffering to Midi in built use and not the Digital Keyboard directly. Like for example using a VST via midi USB and to switch between tones like channel 1 - Church Organ and Channel 2 - EP. Piano and you can instantly change the channel to switch the tones automatically via MIDI and the program itself. Do you know a way via midi and not internally from the keyboard itself to work? Thank you!
  13. Hello Community, I recently started to plug the USB cable on my Casio WK 6500 and everything was working flawlessly with Purity, Hypersonic and different others VSTS. The only problem that I am facing now is that when I select 3 different instruments on different channels I cannot find a quick way to switch the channel in between to avoid loss time when playing a song or performing/playing live. I know that you need to go to Function /Midi and from there you select the channel to change the instrument that the keyboard is sending the information, but my question is if there is any other method quickly to change Midi channels on the keyboard? Because I played in the past a M -audio 88 keys and had a functionality that you hit advance and a note and it will change the channel directly. I would love to know if anyone face this issue and find a workaround or not. Thank you very much for any help!
  14. Bump to this. Anyone to help? Or currently I am limited to only work with the pitch bend and that's it? I wanted to know more about as well the sd midi track playback that this system has, did anyone know how I can export a midi playback track into the keyboard player? Thanks!
  15. Hello casio community! I have this great keyboard and I am in love....the only thing that I am missing on this keyboard, is when I am playing the organ we do not have a modulation wheel to make that Hammond sound top notch quality with the modulation filter I see some expression pedals but I see that there is no input...and I know that there is a setting in the system in built in edit, but I want something quicker when doing an instant performance. Any suggestions? Thank you!
