  1. thanks for your reply Brad. Is there an official Casio database that you can buy instruments from? Also, can you recommend a person that I might be able to hire to build specific sounds? Is that even possible for someone to make something custom and put it in the correct format?
  2. thanks for your reply. That's a bummer about the S350. The good news as you mentioned is those other two models are lightweight. (I can bring it on a plane under 50 lbs) I bought that Casio assuming I could load sounds onto it. I also am testing out the Roland RD 88. So far it says that the Roland accepts svz files but I haven't been able to download that format. Are there any programs that can convert to to the correct format depending on the keyboard? For instance, I noticed a user posted the "Del Shannon" organ sound for the song Runaway on your forum. Could that file be converted to be compatiable with the Roland RD 88? What I don't like most about that keyboard is the piano sounds kind of cheesy. Some of it sounds ok but these sound bad for boogie woogie Jerry Lee Lewis style piano. I tried to see if there was a way to EQ it within the system but I didn't see...
  3. Is it possible to load custom instruments onto the keyboard? Does Casio offer a website that you can download or purchase specific instruments and add it onto the keyboard? I'm not talking about rhythms or beats, Im specifically talking about custom tones/sounds? If Casio doesn't offer a database of tones to chose from, is there any third party company that is compatible? The keyboard I have is a Casio CDP-S350. If you can not do this with a cdp s350, Is there a an 88 key keyboard that is 30 pounds or under that I can do this? thanks -LL
