Can I record in a DAW but have it play CASIO's audio??

If you mean to connect only one Midi plug (OUT) into my WK-1300 (IN) for the Casio sounds to be picked up in Garageband I've tried it and it didn't work. Is that what you meant? Connecting both Midi plugs into my keyboard doesn't help with the sounds either. -
I have a WK-1300 and was wondering if I can record any of its built in tones to a DAW. I use Garageband currently and have been using it as a general midi controller using a MIDI to USB in-Out cable . It has in-Out midi, assignable jack, and phones outputs powered by a DC-12V cord. Thanks
