    Thanks for the great info! I'm using Presonus Eris 8 powered studio monitor and it seems to be working pretty well. I'm still a noob but am having fun learning. Forums like this are reallly a big help.

    I don't know what he is saying, but a great vid anyway. He is getting a big sound out of that XW. What are most people running their XW through?

    I agree. It is kind of frustrating in some ways and cool at the same time. There are so many sub-menus and other functions that work with it. The manual doesn't cover a lot of it, and I personaly think the reason for that is, Casio doesn't even know what all can be done with the XW.

    OK. Still trying to wrap my head around this sequencer. I have made a simple beat with it, changed tone and all and saved it and it works fine. But...If it will only play one note/step, how does it play multiple sounds on a step preset? Ex: when I first turn on the XW and press seq. I get 0-0 Electro pop. When I start the seq. I hear some beats and a synth all on the same steps. If I press a step button on, then I get the default Drm1. on that step. Is the seq. triggering a phrase to get the synth and other sounds? I'm probably just dense I suppose; but, I don't get it? Edit: I found what I was needing. Loss of brain cells from when I was younger apparantly affected my eyesight and reading comprehension. LOL

    I would be most interested to hear how it came out doing the felt thang. Let us know the particulars and how difficult it is to do.

    Does anyone know if any defaults can be changed? I would like to change the default for the pedal so it stays on the step sequencer.

    Real noob here and hope you all will put up with my questions. I am trying to do just a very basic sequence to get a handle on this stuff. What I want to do is just two bass guitar notes from the presets. One note like a F on the odd numbers of the sequence and a different note like an Ab on the even numbers. I can't seem to select the preset I want and get it into a sequence. I have no idea why. I would welcome any tips and or help. Thanks!

    Thanks! I am having fun, and being a beginner, I won't ever have to buy a new kwyboard as I'll probably die of old age before I figure it out. lol.

    I like that! I am very new to all of this and have still been trying to figure out how to do something like this on my xw-p1.

    Most of the manual couldn't be anymore confusing and frustrating if it WAS written in Japanese!
