  1. I am using the headphone jack connected to the Aux. Input on the speakers and getting more sound. Still not enough to use only the external speakers but at least the sound is enhanced in the low frequency range.
  2. This is a question for jokeyman123. I have purchased the Insignia Bluetooth speakers you are using but can't make them work with my Casio PX-S1000. How did you get them to work hard wired and Bluetooth?
  3. Well, I used the Bluetooth function and the speakers are working beautifully. I'm at a loss..
  4. Good suggestion. I'll give that a try and get back to you. They are Bluetooth Speakers so I should be able to connect that way with the phone.
  5. Are there cables that are RCA on one end and 1/4" on the other w/o the adapter?
  6. Yes, very odd. I have huge volume from the internal speakers but not the external. I'm at a loss as to what to try. Could it have anything to do with the RCA cable and the 1/4" adapter for the line out jacks?
  7. Thanks so much, gentlemen, for the suggestions. I tried the headphone jack plugs and it did indeed cut out the internal speakers. But I still get very little sound out of the new external speakers - volume is at max on both the keyboard and the speakers. Any thoughts as to why I would not be getting no volume?
  8. I am trying to connect a pair of Insignia NS-HBTSS116 Powered Shelf Speakers (hard wire) to my new Casio PX-S1000. The cords provided with the speakers are standard RCA connectors and the inputs on the Casio are 1/4 headphone. So I got a couple adaptor plugs for the RCA plugs. Nothing - or at least almost nothing. I can tell they are connected but the Casio built-in speakers are still doing all the work. My sense is that the built-in speakers should cut out when the external are plugged in but that is not happening either. Any suggestions?
