    I guess my problem isn't the same, but it's the same key Bb. It sounds fine when I play it, but if I hold it for more than a second, when I lift up the Bb note sounds AGAIN very loudly. Has anybody had this problem as well? Thanks Brad for the air tip, I'll try that and see if it works!

    Yep, I'm having the same problem with the Bb key almost 2 octaves above middle C, so that is probably the same key. Weird that it is the same key for everybody. I'd love to hear a good answer because it is driving me crazy!! I find myself avoiding playing this key all the time now. Wow, your posts are from 2016 and it is now September 2017. Did anybody get a solution??

    This "no media" error JUST happened again to me. It must have been about 2 years since I updated to the new firmware. I thought I was permanently done with that error. Thank God I put the update on a thumb drive and taped it to a bunch of batteries. The batteries are for if my plug ever goes bad, and the thumb drive is for, well, this exact occurence. And yes, it took about 10 minutes for the keyboard to update. Someone should make sure that EVERYBODY that owns this keyboard needs to have this update on a thumb drive at all times! I love my keyboard but this was scary, happening right before a gig of course. David

    Brad, I've done that a lot and it's gotten a lot better. I've also found that if I put the slider up the whole way it doesn't mess up. So while I won't be able to use the 3rd slider, I won't have to send it in to get fixed! David

    Brad and Scott, The flickering is exactly like I am moving one of the sliders. In fact I think I've found out that is is the third slider. I think I may try to just turn that slider off and change those settings to another slider and see if that works. Is this a big cost to get it fixed? Either way, if my idea doesn't work, I'm gonna have to get it fixed. Thanks! David

    Brad, I've learned alot on how to do things on the keyboard, so I'm embarassed to ask, can you tell me how to create a backup? Are there instructions somewhere for that? Thanks, David

    Scott, no I am not, but I only have about 7 presets so I never have to go above 10. So I didn't think I had to press the bank unless I went over 10, isn't that correct?

    One more thing, I am having to completely turn off my keyboard to get to another preset and it's driving me crazy! David

    Hi, After having my casio for a couple of years, I am somtimes having trouble changing from one preset to another. When I am on the first preset, lets say 01, and I push, lets say, 06, many times it won't let me change to that preset. On my screen I see flickering of words like volume, or expression, so I think a slider or two is messing up my ability to change presets. Can anybody help?? David Shoff

    I just got the "error-no media" thing today 20 MINUTES before I was supposed to play for a wedding! AHHHHH! It was the worst experience, I just ruined a Bride's day. I just did the firmware update. But if this message comes up again, is there ANYTHING I can do to get the thing to play? I would have gladly wiped it to factory settings if I could have got it to play. David Shoff

    Rayman, can you do me a favor and go rate my setting? I really think it is better then most of the piano/string settings that I've downloaded but nobody has rated it yet. thanks, David

    Yikes! I am splitting my keyboard with organ and piano so I still need my sustain pedal to sustain. I figured out how to get my sustain back when I use setting 06 or 16 for the rotary organ. I made a video of how to do it, but it is too large to download here. If anybody needs, or wants to see how to get your sustain back, I'll see if I can put it on youtube, then here. I won't waste my time if nobody needs it. David

    OH, got it! I download it to 06 or 16 because that has all the parameters right and then save it to another setting number! Thanks! David

    I downloaded all of the other organ sounds and am playing around with them. So do I have to use stage setting 06 or 16 to be able to access the rotary sound? When I download an organ sound to another number it doesn't have the rotary sound. David

    Hey, how can I get my wheel(the inner wheel) to make that rotary sound? I am using organ sound #1 and #3 and when I use the wheel now, it just modulates the pitch up and down. I'm using mono, but I still got that rotary sound on my MO 8 when I used the wheel. Thanks! David

    Brad, you got your strings to drop volume when you lifted your hands off the keys and kept the sustain pedal down. How did you do that? David

    Brad, how do you make the volume change when you lift the keys and keep the sustain pedal down? That would be something to play with! David

    I have two different strings on slider 1 and 2. On slider 1 the strings swell a little and the string volume stays up and there is some reverb. On slider 2 the strings sound more lucious. They swell a little and then fade and there is more reverb.

    Hey all, I thought I knew this before, but I'm having trouble doing it again. I just put another string layer on my piano sound and assigned slider two to it for volume with #11. But every time I bring up the stage setting, the volume of the strings is already up, and I don't want the strings up until I turn up the slider. I pulled the slider down to zero so the strings don't sound and saved it again, but the strings still sound when I go out of the stage setting and back in to it again. What am I doing wrong? David
