  1. OK, nothing in the manual but can you use the USB connection in the back to download Chordata files? Or is the SD card the only way?
  2. Tracking as I am setting up mine and trying to play music from my CD files. I have a feeling you cannot play music files from ripped CDs. Translated WAV files do not permanently load into the MUSICDAT folder.
  3. Can you play music files from a SD? I have formatted the card on the 7600, dropped the WAV files into 6.1 audio left box, moved to play only, and they do not show on the card. I see it flash on the card as it is translating but it does not show permanently in the SD folder or on the 7600. On the 7600 it shows no files on the card in CARD mode.
  4. OK/ got the beast today. Very steep learning curve. Figured out how to use the 6.1 software to save a music WAV file of organ music in MIDI format. However the keyboard doesn't seem to see it, although it is in the data file on the properly formatted SD card. Maybe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Spent hours getting this far, as there were no detailed directions. Had to change the folder locations to get the midi files to the card. Keyboard is very nice with just the right weight and responsiveness of the key pressure. So looking for a more user friendly version of software as the free one from Casio is a little bare in the woods. The CTX 5000 supposedly can play USB MP3 music. Not sure the 7600 can do that unless it is in a uniquely special format. I am setting this up for my granddaughter and this unit is complex to say the least. I think she wants to edit the music she records in MIDI. I was the one that wanted to make it a player piano. LOL Also overlay microphone and multiple layers of music. I get the 1/4" mic Sat.
  5. Cancelled order and bought a WK 7600 from BB. Should be here Friday.
  6. I finally realized this unit did not have a microphone input after ordering. So! Can I use a computer microphone as an audio in or will I need some sort of preamp? Are combo headphones and computer mics at the correct impedance for audio in?
