Casio CT-X3000 keyboard
best service Engine 2 software
Windows 10
Hello everyone,
I am hoping someone will find time to help me with this problem, please.
I have spent weeks. Contacting bestservice.com, and Casio support. But I have had no luck solving the problem.
the issue - step 1:
I am trying to connect my Casio keyboard to use as a MIDI with www.bestservice.com free Engine 2 player.
So when I play the keys on my keyboard it plays the instruments within Engine 2 player software.
This software comes with free trial instrument libraries. So I have managed to get this software up and running on my laptop, using Windows 10.
As you will see, all instruments are listed.
Using the laptop mouse to select a key on the keyboard, all sounds play just fine.
The sound coming from my laptop speaker.
At this point, my Casio keyboard is not connected to my laptop.
See screen shot at the end of this thread ...
step 2:
I then connect my Casio keyboard to my laptop - using USB slots "To Host" and "To Device".
step 3:
I then launch the best service Engine 2 software and select the menu File/Midi Preferences.
This brings up the Midi preferences window
At this point, I expected to see my Casio keyboard within the software preferences window.
I see nothing. Consequently, I have no idea how to link my Casio keyboard to this software.
I am hoping an experienced user will have this software and be able to offer me guidance if possible, please.
I am at a complete loss ...
kind regards,
Geoffrey
