  1. Hi Forum team I have a Casio PX-S 3000 which I haven't used for a couple of years. I will be using it again soon, but for now, I want to know if it has an internal battery that may lessen in effectiveness if it isn't used regularly; or are settings/registrations etc saved to an internal flash drive. Many thanks for your help Best wishes Patrick
  2. Thanks for getting back to with help Random_Vibratio..apologies for not seeing your post.
  3. Thanks for coming in on this Brad. I was torn between getting the widi bud pro or uhost but was advised by CME";From what I see in the spec of Casio PX-S3000, it has "USB to device" socket, this should work with WIDI Bud Pro. You can connect WIDI Bud Pro to your PX-S2000 and pair with your computer for Bluetooth MIDI communication." Does a Mac Pro need widi bud pro device as it receives mdi through audio midi set-up. I feel I may have been mis-informed by CME. Thanks for giving advice on this issue. BW Patrick
  4. Hi gfavs I got to the mounting stage on the PX-3000 and it was recognised as bluetooth on the audio midi setup of my laptop but I was getting no sound. I think the issue is you have to turn off local ctrl but I couldn't access that part of the menu while it continued to be mounting. So, same problem as you. My guess is the keyboard is recognising the widi bud pro as a memory stick.. I'm going to touch base with CME to see if they have any ideas.
  5. Thanks rsaintjohn..really helpful. I'll give powering off, inserting and powering up a try and not definitely hot swap again!! I suppose the issue is that the Casio goes straight into formatting the device so I can't make changes in midi settings but the CME bizarrely turns up in my audio /midi set-up so something must be working.
  6. Hi I've just received the widi bud pro (usb bluetooth midi device) from CME. I was hoping this would enable me to use the keyboard as a bluetooth controller. So. as soon as I plug it in it starts formatting, I am unable to turn off local ctrl. and although it is recognised by my audio midi setup (Mac) as connected it doesn't connect to VST's to play audio. Also if I unplug the device and re-attach it the keyboard shuts down? I know this isn't a Casio product but it may be an bluetooth answer for PX-S3000 users so are there any tips out there as to how how I may be able to get it to work? Many thanks Patrick
  7. Hi Talking keyboard storage here. 😃 I'm just about to re-decorate the room and need to put aside the keyboard (PX S3000) for a few days. It'll be in a Stagg semi-hard case. Is it okay to rest it on its side in the case, so the weight is on the back of the keyboard rather than its base? (I was advised not to stand it upright on it's end.) When outside gigging returns it'll also be in its case regularly at home after playing. Thank you.
  8. Thank you so much for your comments and advise. I have got back in touch with Casio.
  9. Hi Just got my keyboard back from repair after speaker grille peeled itself off. Turned it on to find three light switches were not operating. Turned it off and on and switches returned to use. Has anyone else had this issue as I use this keyboard for work and malfunctioning switches is an issue. (Also the volume knob now has an irritating click when turned halfway on return from repair.) Purchased just a few months ago so not that impressed.
  10. Apologies for delay and thanks for your response. It's definitely glued and coming off more and more....I have contacted Casio about it.
  11. Hi I bought the Px-S3000 a few months ago and an currently only using it at home and have taken great care of it. I noticed the speaker grille has started coming off the corner of the left speaker as if the glue was not holding it on. Has anyone else had this problem..solutions? Thank you forum.
