Real nice, best Leslie simulation for  the PX560 I've heard. I'm also interested in how you managed the speed change-I've studied your settings for the knob and mod wheel controllers-are you using an LFO and varying its rate of speed for the hex layer tone or did you do this in some other way and assigned to the registration?

Thank you Mike-never heard the bridge, one of my favorite themes. That good old Fender Rhodes "suitcase" piano! and Bob James, another wonderful musician, on so many levels. Been listening to the Bills Evans trio alot again lately-Scott LoFaro,  Paul Motian, this trio reminds me a bit of what a great trio can sound like.

Roger-could you explain how you set these up? I understand which one is a tone, which is a registration and which is a hex layer-I'm not clear as to how to set each one up individually. Thanks.

Another great musician gone all too soon. Going to be quite a jam session in heaven, if there is a heaven......Thanks Mike for posting this tone.  I've had this alive in my SY77 for years, but haven't been able to dupe it on the 560 or XW. For the newbies-Lyle (and Pat Metheny) were 2 of the earliest experimenters with synth technology-Metheny had one of the first Synclaviers and used it in their earliest albums.  What a fantastic player-definitely distinctive style of piano, accomplished but also one of the more expressive players on an instrument it is hard to be expressive with. RIP.

Downloaded the mp3, sounds very close to original, nice work...what tones or samples did you use to create this jet sound?  I am trying to recreate something similar but not quite the same sound-the beginning of the Ventures "Telstar"-a classic piece from my original vinyl LP complete with raucous roller rink organ-sounds like full drawbars out.  Problem is, I am using the PX560 for this arrangement. Any insight you might have, thanks. Am reasonably capable regarding programming tones and hex layers. I've uploaded the original Telstar arrangement, not mine as an mp3 so you can hear what I am posting about. And the PX560 is somewhat similar regarding editing tones, but without the real time slide controls.
