  1. Hey all. This may be useful to G1 users as well. Since the P1 has many great bass tones, I'm wondering if I can use a bass guitar as a trigger so I can play the bass using the P1 voice. If so, how would I set that up? Thanks for all the insights in these forums!
  2. Smackdown! Newbie and proud. - Thx 4 the info Scott.
  3. Hey all. When I downloaded this group of tones, Casio Data Editor says "file format error" and I can't open the .zpf file. (BJz Rhodes.zpf file). What program should I use to open this file? Thx for the help.
  4. Holy cow - you guys are a boatload of knowledge! Thx for the input. (pardon the pun). I had no idea there were that wide a sampling on this machine, but I have seen a lot of those "XX" designations in tone banks. Thx again - mike Alen - youre rite - some of the P1's voices are prophet-like.
  5. 1. what does prefix cz, mg, pj stand for on some preset synth tones? 2. how would I add time to "fade" of a downloaded moog tone after the key is released? - so there's more flow between notes. I notice when i enter parameter and adjust the numeric values, nothing changes in the tone! 3.is there a video or tutorial showing how to build user tones using the oscillators/envelope gen/filters? (from waveform choice thru adjusting adsr)? Thx for the help! - mike
  6. Hi Mike. I downloaded and used the Data Editor to manage the moog tones. Worked great! There are 2 tones I would like to add some time to the "decay" interval. (to add time the note sounds after the key is released). How could I make that parameter adjustment?
  7. Hi Mike - thx for your response. Yes I downloaded to sd card (I verified the tones {10} were in MUSICDAT file), then placed card in keyboard. XW-P1 screen indicated files were transferring, and posted "complete!" at end of process. I'm just trying to locate those tones in the keybrd memory.
  8. Hey all. Newbie here. Question re: downloaded tones: I have the moog sounds, have downloaded them to the xw-p1. Where are they stored? I've been looking for the titles under "user" tones. Everything there is marked "untitled". I love the keyboard and still trying to get familiar with it. Thx for the help. Mike
