  1. so the normal or variation of a rhythm is not being saved in the registration , it stays the same trough out the banks if not changed manually is there a way to save those in the registrations as well ? or any work around to it ?
  2. is there any way to make new styles or get loops into the keyboard ? i would need some more customized styles that i cant just find is there any way import them ?
  3. and yeah gravity seems enough to keep the piano in check and about that metal stiffener is it like really necessary because i havent installed it yet , as i probably wont be able to use the metal stand with it being on i guess
  4. thanks for the info guys the piano got delayed but i just received it today
  5. Just bought a px560 will be here with he by the end of the week with all the accessories and the cabinet is there anything that i should know before i start ? or for the setup process ? and one more thing is it really necessary to use the butterfly screws to secure the piano to the stand ?if take care of it IE not knocking it down as i might need to take it of once a week
  6. yeah one of my friends have a mz-x and i can see why the PX560 is so loved by people sounds great ( if it doesnt you can tweak it to your liking ) and the hardware is great even compared to keyboards twice it price sometimes and tbh legends just comes once
  7. I was confused between this and the dgx 670 and as i couldnt walk in the store so had to choose based on what i can read and hear online , casio was more feature rich and customizable and a better keybed on paper atleast so just pulled the trigger sadly i will have the stand and pedal before i actually have the piano , hopefully i will love the piano going from a roland e09 to an actual piano/arranger would be quite a big jump either way the deciding factor tbh was the weight of that dgx that freaking 22KILOS and casios hex layer and user tones/ style functions
  8. i just bought a casio px560 will be here in 10 days finally my first piano
  9. theres no more coming right ? i just ordered a px560
  10. okay so that title pretty much says it all , i am planning to buy a new digital piano and things are now open up and i can go to a store and get what i want but is there any news of upcoming release ?
  11. so june is almost over, px560 is back available on casios website , is on sale now , is it worth waiting ?
  12. i am just waiting for some new releases by casio the other piano i am considering right now is the dgx 670 but now the lockdown is almost over just need to go to the store and play them my self
  13. makes sense because casios website still sales it, though i could have liked if it got replaced by something new
  14. so i just contacted some dealers of casio in india some of them said that its unavailable and they have no idea when they can get one again, one just said its discontinued and they are selling the remaining stocks now. is it true ? is there any official statement on that ? or he is just trying to up sell me something different ?
  15. but a regular upright aint built with dynamic weights right . and being smaller isnt a plus for me in anyway for me so any kind of compromise that was made to make to small aint really worth it . though i will probably go in the store and try a range of pianos i might even go for cabinet style digital if i feel like. someone in another thread said casio said that they will be upgrading some of the lines so i am waiting for it right now. hope theres something that replaces the px560 even if its like just a teaser we are working on this piano or something like that would be enough for me to hold for now, and as far actions goes the roland does a phenomenal job one of my friends got the fp90 ( i guess might be 60 ) and that feels incredible dont really have any hands on idea about casio actions
  16. i need exactly what PX560 has cant really see anything the PXs has over it that will have a effect in my work , i need a fully featured arranger with piano action , i play piano for my own personal use ( and midi ) and arranger functions for my band and there is a issue aint there ? saw a youtuber testing out the weights and the black keys have a different weights compared to the black ones probably wont feel it but its something that can effect the playing maths is never wrong ( saying as engineer , even if i cant see it or feel it , if the issue can be measured its there ) the px560 is still the flagship for some reason right ? the only real competition for me is the yamaha dgx 670 mostly because i have had yamaha kayboards before roland fp30x doesnt cut it for me i am not some who wants to fiddle with mobile apps and doesnt have the arranger functions at all
  17. but they still arent on par with the px560 right ? they still seem to be worse then the px560 and I heard some issues with the action of the pxs series and not really what i want
  18. i just dont want to buy a piano and then casio comes in with a great one like the px560 but even better rather wait for sometime maybe even pre order the piano
  19. yeah i will go try them but the thing is i cant do like side by side tests probably , most of the stores does have either the roland or yamaha or casio
  20. so i am planning to buy a new digital piano was looking at the px560 among some others but thats 5 year old piece of gear is there any news on new releases from casio ? they didnt introduced anything this year at namm i guess
  21. the indian price for the px560 is like $900ish and the DGX 670 from yamaha is like $950 while both the RD88 and DS88 costs $1500 and they are a bit out of my budget
  22. i have seen the output thing but its not as big of an deal for me to be honest and yeah i saw the hex layer thing in casio thats the thing making me lean towards it a bit more
  23. well as the mentioned previously they are updating some stuff in june i will probably wait for some couple of months, hope they give some upgrades to the PX-560m maybe give it more functionality interms of editing rhythm and specially the ability to name registrations that would make it the perfect stage piano for me and the RD 88 is priced a lot higher in india , i can get the stand and triple paddle kit and it will still be less then the RD-88s price
  24. i play a lot of piano but i dont have one my self i just have a cheap keyboard and i guess its time for an actual digital piano but the thing is i also like to arrange stuff so the FP30x is kinda out of the game for me unless its action is like something MAGICAL but thanks for the update Casio might have the PX 560m upgrade as a wild card or something if they upgrade the action and maybe add some more features i will just buy it even if its a bit more expensive then the YAMAHA DGX 670 ( the paddle features seems really interesting and that rhythm creator is really nice on the yamaha )
  25. so i was looking to buy a new digital piano the PX 560 looks great and probably still holds its value but now there are better competitors in the market specially with yamaha DGX 670 in the market and also the Rolands FP 30x which is a more piano oriented model but its a great one too. and i am seeing the PX560 is out of stock for quite some time is it finally getting discontinued and getting a new model soon ? if this one gets some more new software features and maybe a better key action then that might be the best possible choice . any has any idea if its getting updated ?
