@jisukim - sorry we have to ask all the common questions because frankly this part of our product simply works - without drivers. The most common issue is cables but you've said you've confirmed that.
I'm sorry to ask but can you post a screen shot of the "MIDI Studio" window of the Audio MIDI Setup with the CDP-S100 connected?
Unfortunately in your case we're most likely looking at a service issue. I don't believe I've ever seen a USB port simply not work on our products before but things are looking like there may be a physical issue with yours.

I've used it successfully in Logic with program changes to control Lyrics. I'll work on an informal video showing how I do it.

"Casio USB-MIDI" doesn't show up in the Audio MIDI Setup of your Mac?

My messages are not specifically addressed to you. You take it for granted, but it's not personal. On the other hand, dealers are dealers, better let's talk about consumers who are the ones who pay
I don't take anything on this site personally. The overwhelming theme is our dealers want all of our products to be more expensive not just in the USA but also in Europe. Based on results I'm seeing around the world they're not having problems selling them at the current price.
The reality is the cost of doing business is different everywhere in the world. Freight costs and other supply chain issues are wildly different than they were a few years ago.

Exactly.
To conclude, I think Casio is doing some unique things. Does Yamaha have a great product? Of course they do. But they're not the same. So you'll simply have to determine which fits yours specific needs.

I'm sorry this happened. That isn't a proper answer. Generally speaking, if the R&D team has resources to make it available they would and it would already be on our site. Most likely it is a question as to whether or not the things you're asking for are actually implemented as MIDI Sysex.

I already tell you that
Yes, several times.

You don’t.We also have dealers in Europe that would disagree.

I was talking about ctx
I misunderstood what you wrote. I'm not aware of any plans for firmware updates for the CT-X. That doesn't mean that there won't be but if they're planning it, I'll likely find out at the same time as everyone else.

That is exactly the problem with these new keyboards. They are too expensive to use as home entertainment when for $175-$200 more, you get better, more professional keyboards. This is something Casio doesn't want to see.
Interesting, having just returned from a trip showing the CT-S1000V to some of our largest accounts, they all said we should have charged a lot more for CT-S1000V. Again if it doesn't fit your needs or budget then buy something else.

What's up with an external bluetooth thing. Why isn't it just built in?
In some countries it is not included. In addition the regulations surrounding Bluetooth devices are becoming very strict. This allows Casio to use one adapter universally for all products moving forward rather than have to deal with regulations for each product individually.

Depends on what platform you're using. If you have a USB-C hub for your iPad that is all you need. Regular Micro-USB cable is all that you need.
On 2/11/2022 at 7:01 PM, bytemare said:Again, why a cable anyway for the lyric stuff? It's 2022 -- it should be bluetooth. Indeed there's a bluetooth adapter included, but yet it has no good purpose
The Lyric Files aren't small. Sending that information over MIDI Sysex would be very slow and inefficient. I've been using my CT-S with bluetooth as a MIDI controller in Logic since the CT-S1 was released. Very good purpose for this and other apps.

Why not? All the retro sounds in one easy to find place.

Change your HOME menu. The 5 buttons under the screen can be customized. You can put quick access to knobs, Active DSP or other parameters right there. It is quite quick.

could a midi clock be implemented like in the new cts
CT-S1000V already has MIDI Clock Sync.

FC4 is not compatible. You need a Casio SP-3, SP-20 or SP-34.
Other third party switchable pedals can work too.- 1

Aside from static electricity, I'm not sure how that could occur. The power supply for your CT-X870IN is 9 volts which is pretty harmless. If you're concerned contact your Casio dealer or local distributor.

@DeltaJockey the PX-S1100 and PX-S3100 are the same as previous models with a constant release velocity of 64.

To save a Registration it is a simple as pressing the Registration button, scrolling right with the > arrow on the screen then choosing STORE.

Jaromir,
We will have tutorial videos coming. We will also be doing more live events where you can ask us questions directly.
In regards to the CT-S1000V, what is your question specifically? To recall a registration is as simple as pressing the registration button, selecting your Bank 1-16 with the knob and choosing the specific registration 1-4 from the screen.

I have a PX-S3100 here - I just haven't unboxed it. I'll try to get this answered for you in the next day or so.

the same comparison that Mr. Martin, for about €160 more, you have the korg kross 2
Here in the USA, a Korg Kross too is $879.99, which is $430 more than the CT-S1000V and $500 more than the CT-S500.

No it is not possible to disable incoming program changes or prevent program changes from being sent on the CDP-S350.
This can be controlled within MainStage itself.
MainStage can either bet set to filter the incoming program change and it is your choice is program changes are being sent back to the CDP-S350.

It is the same as the CT-X in regards to Rhythm DSP.

I need to make a correction to something I said earlier.
Programmable DSP Effects for
3 parts- Correction it is available on any two parts at once.Your choice of which of the 3 parts but only 2 at once.

Hey Johnny,
I wouldn't normally record two parts for either of the two instrument categories.
In regards to EFFECTS, yes. That is one of the best parts of the CT-S. Press MENU and got to ACTIVE DSP and you'll find 100 DSP algorithms to choose from. Which one really depends on the style of the track you're working on. The amp / cabinet simulations in particular are rather amazing.
-
Upper 1, Upper 2 and the Lower part each of their own selectable DSP.
In regards to Rhythms, those created on the CT-X series should load in fine.

I'm not sure where in the world you are. In the USA the CT-S400 is $249.
For $130 more the CT-S500 adds:
1/4" outputs
Bluetooth Audio and MIDI ($79 option on other models)
Expression Pedal Input
3 assignable Real-time control knobs
Programmable DSP Effects for
3 parts- Correction it is available on any two parts at once.200 additional tones including those that were previously only available in the CT-S1
Sampling
64 note polyphony (vs 48).
The PSR-E473, I'm sure is a great keyboard but..
It is significantly larger and heavier and doesn't have any Bluetooth MIDI or near the DSP capabilities of the CT-S500. In the USA the prices aren't out but it is expected to be the same near price as the CT-S500. If the larger speaker system or some of the feature of the PSR-E473 is compelling to you, go buy it. You have options, no one is forcing you to buy a Casio.

The CT-X700 display is not backlit.

People commonly connect the IN/OUT ports from their MIDI interface to the wrong connections on the keyboard. OUT from the keyboard should be connected to the INPUT port on the MIDI interface.
