  1. I wonder why this has not been done in the Casio CTX? It is something that has been requested and it is one of the design flawsI wonder why this has not been done in the Casio CTX? It is something that has been requested and it is one of the design flaws
  2. My messages are not specifically addressed to you. You take it for granted, but it's not personal. On the other hand, dealers are dealers, better let's talk about consumers who are the ones who pay
  3. I already tell you that, with the differences in prices with other products, here in Europe we do not think the same.
  4. That is exactly the problem with these new keyboards. They are too expensive to use as home entertainment when for $175-$200 more, you get better, more professional keyboards. This is something Casio doesn't want to see.
  5. When the CtX is connected via usb to a DAW, it starts to experience lag and stutter. The usb port on the ctx shouldn't even go as high as 1.0. You've seen for yourself how long it takes to mount a usb stick.
  6. Don't expect Casio to fix these bugs. CTX users have never been taken into consideration. One of the most serious errors of the ctx is the lag in the usb port. Mr. Mike Martin has been aware of this for some time and there has been no response from Casio. You can get tired of waiting, the CTX will stay as it is.
  7. That's what I mean. even the ctk and wk 7600 series have features that the ctx doesn't have or don't work properly. Casio's engineers got carried away with the sound and didn't finish the rest well. Great sound is important, but if you have no way to control it, it's useless. Casio could polish the operating system a bit with an update but it hasn't happened nor will it ever happen and this is what disappoints me as a customer. As I say, Casio has ceased to be important to me since the CTX. I have 5 Casios (and some more that I had when I was little) the last one was the ctx and I think it will continue like this for a long time.
  8. The ctx is really a prototype, it has a lot of bugs in the operating system, midi connection failures and functions that work halfway...it is a hastily launched keyboard to compete with the Yamaha psr series and they did not bother to test if everything worked correctly. We have been their testers, and we have also not received responses to these errors, simply... silence. I have been banned by saying this on this forum a long time ago. For me (it's an opinion) the decline of Casio begins in the CTX. With this I don't mean that the AIX engine is a bad engine, but the CTX is not well designed to take advantage of its potential.
  9. The ctx (except in sounds and effects) has few things that surpass the mzx. The mzx is much more complex and has much more advanced functions (without being the best operating system either). This was the occasion to have made a memorable keyboard by merging the two, but it has not been possible and we have a new keyboard that "talks".
  10. Humm, sorry mate, Casio has never been with the ctx users regarding improving the ctx with updates, nor will it be now that they are focused on other models. You are talking to the air.
  11. The korg kross 2 61 666€ ,here in Spain. 492€ the ct-s 1000v.
  12. We will see the comparison between both contenders soon in Gearfacts (which I know you follow) By the way, Mr. Gearfacts also thinks that €495 (here in Spain) for the ct-s 1000 is too expensive for what it offers and making the same comparison that Mr. Martin, for about €160 more, you have the korg kross 2, of which I am not going to list its characteristics because it would be ridiculous. Of course I can choose the keyboard I want, be it Casio, Yamaha or any other brand, but that does not mean that for what these new ct offer, they are expensive.
  13. In my opinion Yamaha is going to sell much more, there is nothing except the vocal synthesis of the ct-s 1000 that the yamaha 473 cannot do (and some things, better) and Casio has been wrong above all in one thing, the price, that is very expensive for a Casiotone, especially the Ct-s 500.
