  1. Hi all! Personally not selling anything, just a proud owner and user of some old Casios. Have a CZ1000, an M-10 (I'd like to use it with some pedals, a flanger and an analog delay), and a Realistic Concertmate-500 (a rebrand of Casio's small but sympathetic SK-1 sampler). Anyway, my renewed interest in the CZ1000 led me to a new project that might be of interest to some of you as well. Years ago my cat's claws ruined the delicate membranes covering the push buttons, putting little holes in it. Esthetically not funny at all. At that time I tried to find a second-hand front in good shape from a machine only used for parts, but to no avail. Thought I'd have to learn to live on with that, but... hopefully not now, tadaaa: Googling lead me to a new project by a UK company called Sweet Discrete. They are offering sets of new membrane replacements for this synth now. Moreover, these are authetic replicas! They did the Moog Source allready, the DX-7 MK 1, the DX-9, the Roland Alpha Juno 1, some others as well, and now they are offering a new set of the two membranes (left and right) for the CZ1000. If and as soon as they get 35 orders they will proceed and order a batch to fulfil. They have allready my order of course. If interested for giving your own CZ baby a new clothing as well after 36 years, check it out I'd say. Not sure if I'm allowed to publish a direct link here, but searching on the company name mentioned above and CZ1000 membranes will bring you straight to it I guess. Thanks for reading!
  2. Renewed interest in my first digital synths, especially my Casio CZ1000, brings me to this interesting forum. Allready happy to discover there is this very nice new editor, sincere thanks for the work, IanB!
