  1. Today I turned on my S3000 to find a very strange problem. If I play through the onboard speakers, It sounds fine. If I go through the output jacks or the headphone jacks, the sound degrades terribly. The stereo field is gone, some tones have a long attack and just a general degradation of the tones. I have done several factory and settings resets with no change. I have tried different cables and headphones with the same result. Anybody have any suggestions as to the cause of this and how to resolve it? Thanks.

    No Power

Thanks Joe. Unfortunately, it's out of warranty. I did open it up but couldn't find any loose cables or anything else that could be a problem.

    No Power

Wonder if anyone else has seen this problem. I've searched the forum but can't find anything similar. A couple of weeks ago, my PX 5s died while playing an outdoor gig, and I could not get it to power on again. I always carry a spare power supply but that also did not make it work. Strange thing though, when I hit the power button, the display lit up for about a half a second and then went back out. When I got home that night, I disconnected all cables and inserted 8 AA batteries, but still the same result. Display would come on for a moment and then go off. I also found that if I continuously hit the power button repeatedly very fast, the display would stay lit as long as I kept pressing the power button. However, no matter how long I did this, the screen would stay lit, but also stay blank. That is, there is no boot up or anything but a blank screen. Any insight as to what's going on would really be appreciated. I am on OS 1.13.
