  1. This makes me HAPPY HAPPY! Thanks guys!
  2. This will sound like a novice question. Sorry. I am a pro recording engineer and barely understand MIDI. I have a session coming up tomorrow that will require me to record two MIDI instruments at once. At the moment my RME Multiface has only ONE Midi Input. To date, when I have used my PX5S I have used the regular ole Midi 5 Pin to my RME and only gave the USB out a passing glance. I am now faced with either buying an additional Midi interface (which I don't really need) or I am HOPING that the USB out of the PX5S transmits Midi. If so, how? Are there settings in Cubase 7.5 I would need to set so it would also see the USB midi? There is a GOOD chance that if the PX5S came with Drivers, I did not install them. Any advice on this is urgently and greatly needed. Any step by step geeky directions are appreciated. Thanks ya'll Dennis in Memphis.
  3. I figured it out. Here is how I did it. Go to Transport>Project Sync Set up. In this rather large GUI you will see Midi Timecode Destinations. In there I ticked the Midi device I was using (Multiface Midi). Below that in Midi Clock Destinations I ticked the Midi Device (again, Multiface midi for me). Beside both of those options is an option I ticked called Midi Timecode Follows Project time. Once I did that the Arpegiattor follows Nuendo's tempo. This is NOT a global setting so any time I have a project I want this to work, I will have to adjust the settings.
  4. Well, when I set the PX5s to this setting it kills the sounds of my VSTi's and obviously does not arpeggiate. Even when I hit record. I wonder if there are settings in Nuendo 5 that I need to toggle to get this to work. Any Cubase/Nuendo users out there that have the solution to this? Thanks Dennis
  5. Brad, I will give it a shot tonight. Thanks for the fast and clear reply.
  6. Hey guys, I am not a MIDI guru. My request seems possible in my mind (but so does me being a rock star!). I have a song that I want to slave my PX5S Arpeggiator to my DAW for perfect sync. Is there a way to do this where the Arp follows the BPM of my DAW (nuendo 5.1) Any insight will be appreciated. IF the answer is "Yes" please be as geeky with details as possible. Thanx Dennis in Memphis
  7. Hey Casio Guys and Gals, I have a studio and currently own a terrible M Audio 88ES. I try using it with Synthology Ivory and the keyboard makes it an unpleasant experience. Most folks complain about the lack of velocity. My question is this....how good with the PX5S be for the studio? I mainly use VST synths like Kontakt, Reason and Ivory. I have no need for it as a stage piano but for quick song writing session it would be very helpful to just plug into an amp. Plus some of the onboard sounds from the videos I have seen sound pretty amazing. Thanks for any thoughts on this. Dennis aka Denicio
