  1. Thanks for the replies guys...I've downloaded several stage setups from this site and I'm going to attempt to recreate one of the Odyssey tones I get out of the VST. Hopefully I learn some things attempting this....
  2. Has anyone posted an ARP Odyssey style sound for the PX-5S? I have the Arturia Odyssey plugin, but would like to find something similar on the PX-5S to use without the computer. I'm not well versed in creating my own PX-5S sounds, but would appreciate any pointers or links to how-to videos. Thanx in advance for any help.
  3. Sorry Brad, I misread your original reply. It didn't sink in that you mentioned the next stage setting. This will work for sure...I'm wondering if there will be any delay etc... I'll try it and report back. Thank you
  4. Sorry I didn't respond earlier Brad...been on vacation:-) Yes that's exactly what I'd like to do. How can I do this?
  5. To use a pedal setting to advance/reverse the arpeggio used by a one/all of the Stage Setup zones? I've looked thru all the materials and did not see how/if this can be done. If anybody knows how this can be done I'd appreciate...Thanx
  6. Hi Brad, I am using the midi implementation manual and have been trying. The manual states that this can be done with RPN (Dec Values) 100 00/101 00/06 12/38 11/ which I could not get to work. UPDATE: Success. Using Reaper I've managed to get it working. Although it only works while Reaper is playing. Once I stop Reaper the values revert to 0. It's a start!
  7. Thanks for the response anotherscott. I am aware that all the CC's work. What I'm after is the ability to change the pitch bend range. I believe it can be done thru a midi sysex, and am seeking some working examples.
  8. I'm wondering if anyone here has any examples of sysex strings or shorter midi messages that can be send to the PX-5S to set parts 5-16. My understanding is that these settings can not be saved as part of a stage setting. What I'd like to do is send a midi message that sets the tone(s) selected as well as the pitch bend range and volume. Once I have a working example I should be able to set other parameters if needed. I'd appreciate any examples that are known to work. If anyone has any to share I would really appreciate trying them out. Thanx!
  9. Thanx Brad...I looked quickly thru the manual and didn't see how to do it. Its a little deep into the menu system. Cheers
  10. I'm curious to know how to set say part 10 to a guitar sound simply by using the keyboard, is this possible?
