The trick with the Pianist is the combination of Sounds , also i have tweaked the ADRS / and FILTERS….if you take a look you will also see i have the Stage Setting down of 12 Semitones and then in the Tones i have upped again to normal running…so there is some difference in the sound …..and of course the effect ,,mostly i stop when my " Audition" is happy feel free to setup the MVGrand to a lower level in the Stage by itself…just scroll down to volume and adjust..i will take a look tomorrow….

my PX5S is on 440 HZ….you can change this….in the Sys Setings..maybe best is to play a C2 on both and use a tuner…on your handy or if you have one for guitar---test until both are equal…

HI i am not a soundprogrammer so all my patches are basicly what i like or what i think could be nice to play or hear... on the other side everybody likes different things,,,,and sounds...it would be cool if we Rate files a little bit more so we know if there is a sound to drop or to rework on it.... what i ask myself is also how much the EQ&Compressor settings affects the sound on other PX5S ...i have changed my settings a bit to sound better with my Kurzweil Monitors so maybe my Patches sound very different on your system .. kindly Maurizio

i have played with my PX5S and programmed some sound after saving them al is ok on the PX5S i can see the patches and they ssems to be loaded but in my Mac & my PC the are only the .lnk (but no file to the folders ) but no folders are there... so i lost my complete work and i have to download it from here ....

thank you theodorn no what i am trying to go is: i have a stage with a drum on zone one so i record a phrase and i am save it as let´s say phrase nr 130 ...ok then i load this phrase into the song sequencer....no i like to play the drum and record a Bass line to another phrase with an different stage setting ....then i like to play the drum and the bass line from the Songplayer and playing a solo ....i cant figure out how........ or i always have the phrase starting with a different phrase or the soundpatch is coming up wrong..or.....wasn´t it better to have a simple track recoder on the PX5S-----

e is it possible to play a file and recording over it using the Song recorder ? if i try to record a phrase only one of my instruments from a stage is playing and recording ? .....also i start then the song recorder and the wave the phrase is also starting,,,i can't figyure out how to use this ... please is there any Handbook ? for it

from the technical sheet the EEPROM / SAMPLE ROM goes into the DSP so i think only the needed Samples ( Waves ) are decompressed at realtime maybe 2:1 or maybe CASIO has figured out a better Ratio.....maybe casio will inform us.... for me it is very intetresting to compare a little bit the different Brands and how the try to produce the best Stage Piano...

If i change the Pedal assignment in my Stage Setting ..this is not stored only inside the Stage but all my other Banks are affected and the Sustain / Hold is gone.. ? also if i switch from one Patch to another working on a Effect i have heavy drop out and popps in my Headphone coming from the effect section ... I habe tried to outfilter some samples from the raw .bin impossible there is a high compression in it

Normaly when Conversion is made they use a 2:1 so 355 compressed Samples are some around those 7xx uncompressed...

well the DAC Converter from the PX5S is a nice peace of hardware giving high grade Sound http://www.mouser.com/ds/2/444/WM8740-5858.pdf 16- 24 BIT up to 192Khz

The only thing i hate on softsynth is the 4 hours try to get a nice latency,,,,the woops why are you asking me again the serial ,,i have it in italy....the...damn my Macbook is getting hot ,,,wupppps my daughter pushed the wrong button ...damn....why does a DVD cost 800$ ? nope i will go for a used rack ....Motif or else,,,

Hi i am asking myself to sell my PX5S and getting one of the Synth in the Topic Title ,,why ? because i feel 128MB of samples is like having a Bread without Butter there are several Samples and Sounds inside i dont like....the Kurzweil or Motif have better selection of samples and of course a lot more of it so more room to create sounds,,,, But how do they sound compared to the Px5S anybody ownes both ?
