  1. I probably would have called it a CT-S800 or something... It's definitely closer to the s1000, than the s400. Until I learned the difference was just the vocal simulation, I was thinking of the 1000v. I ended up going with the 500 just to save some cash - I just didn't see any scenario where I would use the vocal synth.
  2. I'm pretty happy with my new CT-s500! Sounds great, really! I was on the fence recently of picking up an xw-p1 for all-around sounds for jamming (primarily guitar player) but these new pianos really caught my eye! One of the features I was super excited about was the "customizable dsp effects", and reviewers had mentioned them - but not the fact that it seems like I can't set up any user presets - or modify the original 100 slots other than bypassing stuff I don't want... Am I missing something here? I really thought we'd be able to set up some personalized dsp, i.e. a phaser / delay, or chorus / delay / reverb... I get that there's system fx, but I don't want to dedicate a knob to controlling the sends on those, and would just love if I could have several of my own presets to just use the DEDICATED button to turn on??? I think the way the architecture is set up, it seems like the 100 presets are all specific to individual patches or something, I'm not sure why there's so many cabinet model dsp types in the 100 presets, when I don't have a solo delay/reverb setting?
