  1. Ok thanks so much Brad. That reinforces what the repairman said. Appreciate it!!
  2. I have a Privia PX 360. Does it seem possible that humidity could cause the volume to fluctuate erratically high and low while playing? We have had a lot of humidity for weeks but we rarely turn on our AC at home. Our home's interior wooden doors are swelling, so I know it is pretty humid in here. Recently we had an outdoor gig and within an hour or so of being outside on a very humid day, this started happening out of the blue. I would press a key and it would fluctuate wildly (intermittently and without warning. Made for a helluva gig!) A friend who repairs keyboards said it could be humidity effecting the rubber and graphite contacts(?) but I was super skeptical. I've had this thing for 5 years with no issues like that. Anyway, I brought it inside, turned on the AC and sure enough it seems to have cleared up. within 24 hours What I am worried about is that the humidity is not going to subside any time soon in this area and we have a lot of outdoor gigs this summer! Now I am trying to think about how to protect the keyboard as much as possible during the gig, like maybe buying several desiccant packets, laying them on top of the board during breaks and covering it with a large towel. Any other thoughts or suggestions? Thanks in advance.
