  1. Hi folks. I have a CTX 5000 and I'm fairly new to it yet, and I was wondering is there any sound on this keyboard that is similar to The Beatles Hammond Organ sound let's say perhaps on Let It Be or I'm down, or other ones that they use that Hammond organ on? Just wanted to get some opinions maybe what preset number might be close to it in your opinions out there thank you.
  2. Hi, this is bob and I have a ctx5000, and is there a way to adjust the touch response for the keys? I'm not sure if I'm wording this right, but I guess what I'm trying to ask is when you touch a key, is there a way to make the touch on the key more sensitive to get louder volume so that you don't have to tap hard on the keys to get a louder sound? I guess this would be increasing the sensitivity of the keys by some adjustment of some sort? Maybe it's called a key touch sensitivity setting?
  3. Is there a specific volume control pedal to control up and down volume levels for a CTX 5000? And if so, who makes it? And where does it plug in or how does it attach to the keyboard?
  4. Thank you for your answer. And I will be happy with the choices between 71 and 102
  5. Sorry, I'm not that smart. I was hoping for a simple solution.
  6. What is the easiest simplest method to get to and to set the CTX 5000 to get a Leslie speaker sound? Or in my very simple terms, what knobs do I turn, and what buttons do I push? lol.
  7. Brad, I'm not that smart, could you please step me step by step on how to do that, because I don't know anything about this keyboard and I would have to live two lifetimes to understand that Casio owners manual book and have two or three phds in music. So if you don't mind, could you take me through the steps I would greatly appreciate it thank you.
  8. Okay so I have come to the conclusion that the CTX 5000 will not save Mike presets. I also have spoken to three so-called technical people at Casio in New Jersey and they did not have any answer for me either. So every time I shut the keyboard off and I go to another gig, what I will have to do every time to set mic reverb preferences is: 1. Long press the part button and display reads onPart 2. Short press the part button turns on red light, display reads KEYBOARD 3. Press NO button 1 time to display EXTERNAL 4. Press part button to turn red light off and display reads onPart 5. Press 2 button 3 times to set reverb 6. Spin dial to preferred reverb 7. Press 4 or exit button 8. Repeat all these actions every time keyboard is shut down and rebooted.
  9. You can rename it. Could you please take me step-by-step on how to do that.?
  10. I just purchased a new Casio CTX 5000. I plugged the microphone in the back, and I kind of figured out how to add more Reverb to the microphone and more volume. But when I am done playing and singing I shut the keyboard off and then when I turn it back on I lose all the settings that I just added for the microphone. How can I permanently the settings that I just made for the microphone?
