  1. Hi Tom, I think that given the price of the 5000 (870 euros in my case) the keyboard is acceptable with its small defects. But for the 2700 euros of the 7000 it is not conceivable. I don't know who buys it but they must have little knowledge of the alternatives on market. If the keyboards of the 5000 and 7000 are really the same as they say, obviously.
  2. Sorry for the confusion in the thread and you did a great job splitting topics. Don't worry about the bluetooth issue, I've solved it. You can stream audio from any application including Spotify. Thanks a lot!
  3. Yes, that's what I did. But once paired I can only send songs that I have locally on my phone and only through the casio app. But in a world where everyone listens via streaming it would have been nice, and honestly I thought this was the case when I purchased it, that it could be used through an app like Spotify or similar to send music to the piano. On some reviews I had read that it could be used as a BT speaker, but obviously they was wrong. Although the review was talking about the 1100 and not the 5000. But I think it's the same from that point of view.
  4. Hi Tom CH. Sorry for the late reply but I couldn't add another post yesterday because the system wouldn't let me. I read your impressions of the piano and I agree with you on everything. It's really a pleasure to play that keyboard and the internal sounds are also very nice. Being my first keyboard of this brand I can only say that I have the impression that it is not made to last long. But at that price you can't expect more. The things that disappointed me and that perhaps could have been addressed better are the use of Bluetooth which honestly seems useless to me. Unless I understand correctly how to use it and I could be wrong. For example, I thought you could send music to the device with any phone app but I only managed through the CASIO app. And this disappointed me a little. And obviously the fact that via USB you can only send midi and not audio, another thing that would have been very useful. But, again, at that price it's a good buy.
  5. Hi Tom_CH, thank you very much for the feedback. You say that for you too the snap effect is not quite as pronounced as on other devices. So I will try not to think about it anymore and resign myself to the fact that the unit in my possession is not defective but it's a standard behaviour. Also because I like playing on that keyboard so much that I would hate to send it away for warranty repair Thanks again for everything!
  6. Hi Tom_CH, I take advantage of the fact that you bought the same model as me and I ask you if with the rear jacks (left+right output and sustain) you have the same impression as me that I described in the thread I attach. In short, although the contact works correctly, the jacks seem to be only inserted without a constraint and I don't hear that classic click that makes them forcefully positioned. As a result, extracting the jack requires much less strength to pull out than all the jack connectors I have had the opportunity to try in my life. Of course I have tried different jacks but this behavior happens with all of them, even with the supplied sustain pedal. Thank you if you want to give me your feedback! Best regards from Italy
  7. Thanks for the reply! I must say that I tried different plugs, not only the sustain pedal had this behavior, even the jacks that I connected to the external speakers. And I had never felt such an unsafe contact both when inserting and extracting the jacks. But evidently CASIO prefers it that way... thanks again!
  8. HI! I bought a px-s5000 today. All ok but I have a doubt about the rear jack connectors. Both, dumping pedal and those of the audio outputs. When I insert the plug I don't hear the classic click of a jack... the plug inserts and extracts without the classic click. I must say that the contact still works and there are no problems, everything works as it should despite this apparently loose insertion. The salesman on the phone tells me that all new CASIOs have this behavior. This is why I ask you if also your piano has this feature or if I should worry. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me!
