Hello there! I also have a Casio CT-701. The problem is the keys produce distorted sounds when I play it. When the Casio Chord is ON and FINGERED, the chord part of the keyboard sounds ok. But beyond that, the keys sound distorted. When the Casio Chord is OFF, all keys are distorted sounding.
