  1. Hi, I'm a noob here, so if I haven't searched or looked for the right resources, please bear with me. My CTK-691 just stopped working with a 9V DC adaptor. It works fine on batteries, but can't get it to go on the adaptor. I can wiggle the plug around and get it to flash momentarily, but that's it. I'm guessing the jack has a bad solder joint. I know how to solder and am not afraid to take a look inside. Just wondering what I get when I separate the two halves? Assuming everything stays together? Any tricks to getting the halves apart? If anyone has any pics I would welcome seeing them. Thanks!
