  1. Hello again, I got a bit of steps towards getting better at recording and can record midi data on PC by using this cable but now I have another problem that I've been searching for 1.5 hours now. I guess I'm just bad at this at this point. The multitrack files I save on USB from keyboard is .mrf and the software I'm using for editing (FLStudio) requires .mid or some other type of file. I really couldn't figure out how to convert it into one of these type of files since the software doesn't see the files without using any websites if possible? And if you have any other advices for transfering data/audio I would be real happy if you could share. Thanks for your time.
  2. Well, apparently I am THAT new into recording. Didn't even know that the other one is classified as USB as well . Don't have that type of cable right now. I will get it and try it later again. Thank you so much for your fast reply to this silly situation :).
  3. Hi, I bought a new CT-X 3000 recently. I am new into recording. On the user manual I saw that I can record MIDI via USB directly to my PC. But my PC or any software for recording MIDI data doesn't see the keyboard. I am using Windows 11, high-end laptop. Tried FL Studio but the settings for MIDI input is empty and I don't get any kind of alert or notification when I plug my keyboard. Also CASIO Data Manager for X series doesn't see the keyboard as well and says -Disconnected- at top. Followed every step on page 124 (EN version) over and over, tried different solutions I've found on YouTube etc. but the problem seems to remain. I just want a basic recording of what I play using USB since I don't have other type of MIDI cables. Thanks for your time.
