  1. guys, is there an easy and powerfull and yet somewhat cheap daw software i should use with px-5s? Also my laptop is good (Samsung) but i guess i will need another sound card...any idea???
  2. hi guys, what would you suggest regarding a daw software for home studio? There must be one out there that is easy to use and not to expensive. Also....i have a nice Samsung laptop but i don't think it has the best sound card...any suggestions?
  3. look's like it's already available; Mike's posting in px-5s download section on december 05 2013: there is a link there to get the download........can you clarify? Basically i am building a little home studio....i want to use a daw to make my projects....i only need a bigger display...can i do both? I mean i don't want the iPad to be a controler...just a screen?
  4. cool, hope to see this here on the forum when it't ready.
  5. In one of the numerous YouTube videos, i saw this guy changings the px5s tones and settings from and iPad or something of that nature. It was the inboard sounds he was manipulating so i think he was not midi pluged to a daw software or anything. I haven't downloaded the editor yet so is it possible you can do just that with it.. Any idea? I wish i could have a bigger display!
  6. thanks choppin. Lets say i have a software with incredible (tones) strings and i want to upload them in the casio....will the keyboard treat them as stage settings or tones that i can put on top on those already in memory? I think they will be regarded as stage settings???Thanks again.
  7. Thanks Scott. What if i make a mistake (i deleted an original preset i wanted to keep). If i want the original one back...can i get only this one back or i have to upload 'all' the original presets and then erasing some new ones i just made and want to keep. It's all or nothing? Thanks in advance.
  8. Hi everybody...i am buying this keybord in 2 days but i have been reading and watching everything i can on the internet since 4-5 days. I saw some nice explanations on how to upload new sounds in the keyboards using the data editor. It looks easy but my question is: How much internal memory is available cause in the video tutorial you can choose a new sound to upload but you also need to tell the device wich sound the new one "will replace"......it will delete the old one. Can't we just add new sounds without deleting others....just like adding new stuff on your computer hard drive??????
