  1. Hello Popsel, thank you very much for your help. It works 😀 Greetings CasioCTK
  2. On MZ X-300, when playing back a MIDI song, is it possible to start rhythm synchronously at given measure beginning? Is somewhere a menu item for this purpose or should I insert some special event into that MIDI file?
  3. MZ-X power adapters are for 110-240 V/50-60 Hz with different plugs only, so Euro-UK travel adapter should be OK.
  4. Don't you believe Mike Martin from Casio America? (A couple of posts above.)
  5. Yes, in that country where you have bought a keyboard. In this case you should send it for warranty repair to Germany (maybe to any other European country?). Or to pay for repair in USA. But just in case somethíng happens to your keyboard during its warranty time what is covered by the warranty terms and conditions. Otherwise you have to pay for that repair. But allow me some questions: How did help you your MZ-X500 warranty when it was stolen? How many times did you use your warranty for MZ-X500? What was your real usage of MZ-X500 warranty you have paid for? Sorry for that, but when I can buy something I want very much, in new, factory condition, from a good store in another country for half of its price in my country, then warranty is my last problem. If nothing happens, what is majority of cases, people do not use their warranty services at all. Think positive! I keep my fingers crossed for you.
  6. Hi Randy, try to look at Amazon.de. I saw there MZ-X300 for 498,00 and even for 309,00 € new. Shipping will not be cheap, but still in your budget, I think. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Ladislav P.S. Directly at musicstore.de is MZ-X300 for 299 € and shipping to USA is 30 €.
  7. Sounds: Elec.Organ 4, NylonGuitar2, TenorSax or Violin Rhythms: jazz and swing rhythms, Country (and other) Waltz, Beguine I have bought some very good rhythms from Planet Keyboard, so I am not sure now which of my most used were built-in by Casio.
  8. OK, I have found the way how to do it. Sorry for bothering you with that.
  9. Hello, on my MZ-X300 I have user pad bank called Perfidia with my own phrases saved under pads No. 1 and 2. Now I would like to copy two preset phrases from pad bank Perc Loops, data phrase Percussion 7 and 8 into my user pad bank under pads No. 3 and 4. How can I do this? By copying, exporting/importing or maybe just some kind of assigning those two phrases to another pad bank?
  10. It is interesting. At first I was impressed what sound had some instruments like accordions, organs or brass. But a couple of days after I see it overall as too aggressive setting, especially with some auto accompaniments. Do you guys, use different equalizer settings for different rhythms/accompaniments/tones? Or do you use just one setting for everything?
  11. Thanks Brad. I was not sure about it.
  12. Thanks. Sounds really good to my ears. Just a question. Is there a reason to set Mid1 to higher frequency than Mid2? Or it doesn't matter where is which frequency set?
  13. I have downloaded all available styles/rhythms for MZ-X300/500 and CTK-7000 from Casio site and even bought some other from PlanetKeyboard. But you are right, there are very few usable waltzes there (maybe Waltz 2?) and nothing what could be called Czech Polka. If you could make them, please let me know, I am interested very much, too (but I am not able to make them 🙁).
  14. Thanks Brad. And part 6 worked well for me with that phrase tone. I am happy now. 🙂
  15. Thanks for the explanation, Brad. It looks like part 6 or 7 (not used for anything else) could be used for that purpose. I'll try it. And one more question: What does mean Group (Off, 1 - 8 ) and how to set it in pad edit settings?
  16. Yes, Brad, I meant exactly that.
  17. Hello, I have problem with pad phrases. I want to save pad phrase with baritone sax tone which will be played during my normal playing accordion tone. When I choose Phrase Tone Enable, upper 1 tone immediately changes to baritone sax after tapping pad. If I choose Phrase Tone Disable, pad sound is accordion instead of baritone sax. What have I to do to get from pad every time that recorded tone regardless of my currently chosen upper 1 tone?
  18. I keep my fingers crossed... Ladislav
  19. Hi Igor, if I remember well, you should change .PSR extension to .MID and then import that style into pattern sequencer. Hopefully I haven't forgotten something. Ladislav
  20. If you can live without hex layers and with less pads, there is no need to spend more than double the price of MZ-X300. Just my opinion.
  21. Yes, I tried and started with one package of nearly 100 rhythms. Some of them are really nice, at least for me.
  22. Hi Casiokid, press K1 (K2) field and in the new window in Target field 1 select Upper 2 on/off and again in Target field 2 select Upper 2 on/off. This way you can switch Upper 2 On by turning that knob to right and Off by turning it left.
  23. I use them for switching Upper 2 and Lower 2 tones ON/OFF. (I have all 4 tones - Upper and Lower, 1 and 2 - set for right hand.)
  24. What happens if you save tone or rhythm to flash drive? Can you save it? Can you see it there? Can you load/import it?
