  1. Can't Fight This Feelin'

This is the piano/keyboard sound(s) for REO Speedwagon's "Can't Fight This Feelin'".
Pedal 1 is set to SUSTAIN, while Pedal 2 turns the synth/bell zones off (Z 1 &4) for the verses.  Zone 3 is an (optional) extra piano sound to beef up the Rock Piano sound in zone 2 if you care to enable it.
I will record a Soundcloud demo shortly.

    (Original Key: A Major)   Enjoy!

  2. Feels Like the First Time (updated)

With gracious help from Jim O'Dell, this is a joint effort to bring you a stage setting for Foreigner's "Feels Like the First Time".
The arpeggiated synth part is located only at G6 on the keyboard. The lead synth part is located in the fifth octave of the keyboard, and the rock organ is played in the third octave. I took Jim's original work and combined it into just one stage setting, with more accurate sounds across the keyboard and improved eq settings.
I hope you enjoy this ss and can use it with your band!!
    Thanks again Jim!!!!!

  3. Best Is Yet To Come

This is the third Bryan Adams' stage setting I've created, this time for his ballad, "The Best Is Yet To Come".
    Listen to the sample at:
    https://soundcloud.com/mcnab1dl/best-is-yet-to-comewav
remember...the soundcloud files are greatly compressed and sound differently (much deeper) once in the keyboard
I hope someone can use this ss...Enjoy!

  4. GRF EP v.2

This is an electric piano sound somebody (with the initials "GRF") asked for on the Casio FB page to use in church. Hope it's close enough!!!
Please adjust the eq to your own taste...
I added "stereo strings" into the 4th zone, controlled by PEDAL 2 - if the Lord so moves you to use it!!! : )
Although is is much richer on the keyboard, here's a sample:
    https://soundcloud.com/mcnab1dl/grf-epwav-1
THIS SECOND VERSION is a BETTER version thanks to Terry L.'s kind help!!!!!!!!!!
The strings are triggered by PEDAL 2 now, instead of by slider 1...and all the strange assignments have been cleared up!

  5. How Deep Is Your Love

Today, someone on the forum asked for a stage setting for the Bee Gees' song "How Deep is Your Love" ... so I just played with an existing ss, and this is what i came up with...
The strings are activated/deactivated by pedal 2. They will play along with whatever you play on the Rhodes piano sound. Please feel free to set up differently/reconfigure (pedals to sliders, etc.) if this setting doesn't suit your needs.
    Hope you like it.

  6. DLM Rock Piano

This is my "go to" performance rock piano sound I use with my band (Old Time RnR, Takin Care of Bizness...you get the picture)
I guess this is my "secret gem"...It has some punch and growl down low, but not too much
Each slider controls the volume of each piano... I just use what I have them set for.
sliders 5 & 6 control delay and reverb... knobs1-4 are for eq "on the fly"
I hope you can use this!

  7. Gimme Some Lovin

I saw a post on the Casio FB forum the other day where some guy was asking for the stage setting for the Spencer Davis Group's "Gimme Some Lovin" ... Well, here it is!
The left half of the keyboard is piano; the right hand is the organ. PLEASE adjust the distortion levels yourself (under the Tone > DSP Edit function), as this stage setting probably sounds different on your keyboard than it does in my cheapo headphones! - I'm pretty sure you'll want MORE DISTORTION... At least this ss will get you "in the ballpark" (as they say...)
I TRIED to get the rotary effect to sound decent on the MOD wheel, but it needs a little work still.

  8. TM's Hammond A100 (Top R/Bottom L)

This is my (feeble) attempt at simulation of Tony Monaco's Hammond A100 organ sound at the start of his Youtube video " Tony Monaco Hammond B3 Settings and Sounds". I could NOT get the percussion sound right...but if any of YOU can, please contact me and let me know how you did it.
The left half of the keyboard is the bottom left hand part, and the right half is the top right hand part. Pedal 2 is assigned for expression (volume actually) to allow for more expressive playing, and the organ ss in general is somewhat velocity sensitive for the same reason.
Check out a very brief sample at:
    https://soundcloud.com/mcnab1dl/tm-a100-tbwav
DISCLAIMER: I am NOT an organ player, hence the lame sample!!! LOL

  9. Snowday Special EP

This stage setting is for an electric/acoustic piano sound, that was inspired by a Yamaha keyboard sound I heard today on Youtube. I took the liberty to make it my own (Casio sound) with the various edits I made... and I hope you do the same! (I encourage you to play with different piano sounds in Zone 2 to make it YOUR own).
Today was another snowday for me (teacher) because of the frigid temps here in Michigan... so I played around all day on my px-5s and created this ss. I hope you enjoy it!

  10. UCantAlwzGet (WhtUWnt)

This is BY FAR the most complex stage setting I have created to date..., and I have to say I am most proud of this one!
(It's dedicated to Brad Saucier for everything he has taught me on the forum!)
This is my ss for The Rolling Stones' "You Can't Always Get What You Want".
The far right of the keyboard is the choir zone and is controlled by PEDAL 2 ("on/off" toggle).
The far left is the French Horn sound, controlled by SLIDER 1 ("on/off" toggle).
The next quarter of the board (left-center) is the piano sound, controlled by SLIDER 3 ("on/off" toggle).,
Finally, the third quarter up the board is an excellent organ sound, controlled by SLIDER 6 ("on/off" toggle).,
It will take you a little time to get it all straight, and the playing space is TIGHT (but sufficient for someone with only one keyboard)...but I think it's a pretty cool setup nonetheless.
    TO START:
I would begin with the choir toggled "on" ...then shut it off til the end of the song...
Also, I would start with slider 1 up ("on" position) for the horn, then pull it down before you pull the up piano (slider 3) and organ (slider 6) because the sounds overlap if you are not careful....but don't worry,...there's lots of time to adjust during the guitar part of the first verse.
I believe you will grow to love this setting for the Stones' greatest song (IMO).
    Enjoy!!!

  11. Summer of '69 (2nd & Final UPDATE)

This is the 2nd UPDATE of my stage setting is for Bryan Adams' "Summer of '69".
From A1 to C#5, I have created a zone for a gutsier, more adjustable draw-bar organ than the previous versions (based off of Mike Martin's wonderful "6 bar" organ.)
The modulation wheel AND NOW PEDAL 2 will trigger the LESLIE rotary effect when needed.
From D5 on up, I created a zone for the keyboard sound in the chorus, which has also gone under some final tweaking.

  13. Mony Mony

  14. Wonderful Tonight

This is a stage setting for Eric Clapton's "Wonderful Tonight".
It combines a nice electric piano/bell sound with some organ tones to give a pleasant sounding stage setting for someone having to cover the keyboard and string parts all at once, on one great keyboard (the px-5s!).
It works for my band and me... Maybe some of you can use it as well.
    Enjoy!

  15. Luv Walks In

Someone on the forum asked for this after viewing my stage setting for Van Halen's "Jump"
This is the best I could do with the very limited skills I have...
I created a Hex Layer (VHalen 5150) that I put in position 182.
    Hope you like it!

  16. Heaven

This is a stage setting for Bryan Adams' "Heaven".
The piano sound is throughout the entire keyboard.
I assigned a one note looping string phrase (sounding at C6) to pedal 2 controlling the "on/off" function...You must activate the note a split second before you play the keyboard.- (I'm not sure if it matters, but I placed my phrase in position 103. This phrase is used for the intro and then again immediately after the first time through the chorus).
I also added a string sound on slider 2 for the chorus and second verse of the song.
I hope you find this stage setting very convincing and usable with your band or alone.
    Enjoy!

  18. Hard Habit To Break

This is a complex song-ready stage setting is for Chicago's "Hard Habit To Break". The classic electric piano sound is up through the first four octaves of the keyboard. A French horn sound is embedded into the fourth octave, and a flute zone makes up the top fourth of the board.
One could just play the bottom half for the song or use the rest of the board as you feel confident enough to play.
    I hope you like it!

  21. Don't Stop Believin'

This is a stage setting for Journey's "Don't Stop Beleivin'"
From A1 to E3, I created a zone to play the left-hand bass line in the song. By shifting the keyboard one octave higher at F3, I cut the keyboard down for you to play the right hand much closer to the left hand, and I shortened the spread of the keyboard for the third zone beginning at C5, reserved for the brassy keyboard sound for the second half of the song.
I hope you find this SS usable and enjoyable!

  22. Margaritaville

This stage setting for Jimmy Buffett's "Margaritaville" grew out of another SS called "Volcano"...
From A1 to C6, I created a zone for the digital electric piano. Above that point is a zone for the steel drum/bell - ocarina sound for the intro and the end of each chorus.
This setting was a big hit with the guys in my band and every crowd (of Parrotheads) we've played for!
    Have fun and enjoy!

  23. Sweet Caroline

This is a 3 zone stage setting for Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline".
From A1 to E4, I created a zone for the brass sound at the beginning of the song and near the end. I used the GM tuba sound here because of its fullness of sound. Feel free to change it to GM Trombone if it suits your needs more.
From C5 to E6, I created a zone for strings for the section before the chorus.
From F6 on up is the brass/trumpet zone for the "Bahm, Bahm, Bahm" part...Know what i mean? LOL
I hope you enjoy this stage setting!
