  1. I have a similar problem. I bought an expander and connected it Midi Out and Line In, then I took a Stage Setting, put the volume of the original sound to 0 and also changed some other parameters of that setting. Now I can play the expander sound, wonderful. But I hear that sound in every other setting, too, for example I hear piano plus expander on 0-0, expander plus Rhodes on 0-1 and so on. Now I am looking for a possibility to change that...but how? Must have to do with MIDI but I don´t know what to do, sorry.... Thank you...
  2. Yes, but as a complete idiot in technical issues (and not a native english speaker) I do not know how to make the knobs and sliders taking control over the parameters of the Burn.
  3. Thank you, maybe I should use it like a guitar pedal! :-) Which organ of the PX5 do you use for a nice Jazz sound (like Jimmy Smith) or Chester Thompson sound (Tower of Power)...? I really like this:
  4. Hello, I bought a GSI Burn, but don´t know how to connect it to the PX5 MIDI wise..I want to control the pedal with the PX5 and don´t know where to begin... I use the 6 draw organ... Thanks, Al
  5. Hi, did you solve the problem? I want to buy the GSI, too. Regards
  6. Hello, I am back on my Casio PX 5 after one and a half years. I am looking for an authentic grand piano (dynamic and more on the bright side) and Rhodes sounds for Jazz trio.. Also, which is the best Hammond organ ( Jazz style..)? Can somebody help me finding those sounds for download? !!!Thank you very much!!!
  7. Okay, I want to put a Phaser on slide 1. In the editor: Stage setting - COMMON - Slider 1 - Target DSP Param 1 What now? Thx Andre
  8. Hi Choppin, thank you a lot , but at first I try to understand the video instruction repeating the essential parts a few times....so maybe there will be only a few details left!!
  9. Thank you for the links, I already saw them but my English is just too bad to understand it. Regards, Andre
  10. Hello everybody! Please excuse my inferior English skills, I am out of school for thirty years... I entered the shop on saturday intending to buy a Nord Electro SW73 or HP... But after playing those units I was quite dissapointed with the keybeds, coming actually from the Kawai CS10, and Yamaha P 100 to P 250 over the last 25 years.. I fell in love with the Casio because of its keys, sound and the portability! I spent the weekend on getting familiar with this unit. What a luck there is this wonderful forum and Mr. Martin, too, thank you!!!! Simplicity is not its strength I fear but I love the sound. What I would like to learn is the routing of effect to the sliders! Three examples: 1. I would like to have a DSP effect (Phaser for example) on slider 3, just the amount of effect (like reverb on slider 5) 2. Also: I would like the idea to have different sounds on different sliders, e.g. Grand on 1, Hex based-Rhodes on 2, Hex Organ on 3 and so on. 3. And Rotary on/off with the damper pedal I hope these things are possible with the PX!? Thank you, Andre
