I had / have a problem with the highest keys, the right side, there is no velocity
After a lot of testing I noticed that it happens only with a few tone presets. Some work ok, some not. It looks that in performance, drawbar & synth there is no problem. Only when I use the "bad" tones in hexlayer or so, it is giving problems.
But to send it again to a service point.... well just to much work, I can live without those keys. I marked them with a red pencil

well since I had tried to update the firmware of my P1 end October 2013, I had brought it to my dealer (early nov 2013).
They could not fix it and had send it to casio-service.....  I got it back last Saturday 8 February 2014..
They had replaced the motherboard. It has now firmware 1.10, and it works. I had only to pay the postage because it took so long.
And now updating the firmware to 1.11 .... I think I will forget that. no more firmware updates for me.

Installing a backup gives only noize
And installing of my own "instruments" is not easy, it is better to rewrite them.....

Yeah , problem is I live in the Netherlands,
I think I have to contact my dealer if there is not an other option.

I have learned my lesson, never update you firmware  

HELP I wanted to install the new firmware, but my antivirus blocked the updater,

the p1 opdate locked, connection was lost.
and I tried to restart the synth, but nothing works, what to do??
I removed powercord, usb...

A Choir & String Hexlayer that I just had created on my XW-P1.
I have just as base the "SOFT ANALOG PAD" uploaded here by eddieriff.
I tweaked it and added some other sounds to it.
it is a 6 layer piece.
For me the best way to use it is sliding with the mixer-sliders to play around with the different layer-sounds or using different key-touch

I used on those tracks the Casio XW-P1.

Beside that, I had used a microkorg, yamaha an1x, roland SH201,

MAQ 16/3 with Novation KS-rack and some fx.
