Thanks, Brad. That's too bad they couldn't have carried over that feature. It can't have required that much more processing power if the WK-7600 could do it. The X5000 sequencer is peculiarly implemented. Much attention to song manipulation and event data editing but missing the necessary actions for track construction. I wish they could improve it with a firmware update but I know they won't. Oh well, back to the computer....

Hello, I recently bought an X5000 and have been using its sequencer. I can't figure out how to merge two tracks into a third track so I can have the combined contents of the first two tracks. I see in the manual for the WK-7600 that this operation is possible. I am hoping the X5000 can also do this but that it's a hidden feature since the manual doesn't mention it. Anyone know if it is indeed possible? Thanks for your help. Phillip
