Then use the headphone if getting stereo from it. Play around with the casio volume, input gain on PC, stereo volume on pc. More or less pull up the pcs sound mixer tab so can get a solid balance for recording. http://www.kreatives.org/kristal/ Beyond that link to free recording program. If you are just recording straight stereo off the casio, then latency will not be a problem.

Aye, good idea to setup different EQ on left / right channels. Piano is basically mixing a bloody band. If run EQ full open cloned, then, problems. Have to play with levels as well, the old max drive without clipping / noise dance.

yamaha studio monitors There said a brand. Only question is five or eight inch. Not going to get headphone sound from speakers. Yet will get clarity and flat as possiable sound, close to reality of what's really going on. Placement is important, basically center of room wall, a few feet in front of wall, high enough where speakers are level with ears, slightly angled so when turn head left / right your looking directly at speaker.

Nice on the 16 track, I'm using a 2 on 8. Anyhow would like to screw around on the trackformer. Just would like it to pull double duty. Use a hardware sequencer...so if could MIDI it in out and about fun. As it stands I would feel empty, like playing a stylephone and just looking at a studio. 12 bit, I sorta like the sound of that ( use so many deci anyways ). Workflow and integration my only real concerns.

Aye keyboard was updated long ago. The editor I got right when the keyboard came out...it's what used to check the features before buying. It was the 1.1.0.1 editor that was problematic, New editor no problems.

Aye read in the PDF the option to pick amount of samples in the format menu, just no option shows up in the editor. That's why was wondering if there was some trick. My editor is version 1.1.0.1, so gonna check if there is a newer version. Thanks for help, bit batty...always has to be hard before easy.

Can this device be MIDI/USB directly to a keyboard to play in parts? Can it drive external gear? PC not option in setup as is only used for mastering waves recorded external. XWG1 is perhaps my favorite monosynth and do like Casio way of doing things. So a Casio groove box is like a bloody dream come true.....Just when noticed lacking of MIDI wind got knocked out of sails.

Thanks had to sleep on it. That said. Is it possiable to load the five samples into the editor, save convert....then load that converted file to the synth......after that fine tune the 1-5 splits with keyranges? Ask because that would seem a smoother process and cause a screenshot in the sample PDF had five splits in the editor.

Ok I'm able to get split one samples converted and loaded to synth. My question, how or am I able to load in multi samples. The goal if able, is to load samples at different octaves to split 1 - 5...then when loaded to the synth place the octaves in a relative key range ( so instrument sounds nice across the keyboard ). Thanks for any information

The issue. Using Korg mx as master with xwg1 as slave. Have midi talking. I'm just sending note data from the mx. Thing is the xwg1 step sequencer auto starts all the bloody time. Had to rig up turning off all channels sans the synth voice of the xwg1 wish to hear. Wish for a better solution and perhaps even a way to trigger multi voices from the mx with the xwg1.
