  1. Drawbar organs with a CV knob, expression pedal, a little fatter sound and no audible harmonic beating.
  2. I once thought I could not play piano parts (I'm a Rocker) on anything but a weighted board but now I easily can go back and forth for piano parts between my hammer weighted Yammy S08 and the 7500. It is easier to accidentally hit unwanted notes, at first, with the less weighted 7500 but eventually, and with a bit more concentration, I have been able to avoid that. I love the WK for organ/synth action but it does have some DB organ tone limitations.
  3. Wow, Emo owns Casio's now? The best and easiest way to improve WK's organ sounds altogether and to get that OD is to throw a Neo Ventilator pedal after the dry signal (shut off DSP). If that is too expensive, try a Digitech Bad Monkey pedal or an Art Tube Preamp (under 50$). It also can be achieved with WK's DSP "gain" effects itself but that will take some digging into the owners manual. Some of the pre-programed DB organs have degrees of Overdrive built in to them as well. You could use those and then adjust the sound to your liking with the drawbar sliders and Leslie/rotary sim speed buttons.
  4. Jeez, 68 views and no answer to this yet? Wish I knew the answer Bill but all I own is the WK-7500 which has similar piano patches but does not have a piano weighted keyboard. Bob
  5. Does this "Mod" setting on the drawbar organs edit menu have anything to do with the modulation button and DSP? It does nothing with DSP off.
  6. What is this control supposed to do? I tried adjusting the rate after editing the organ voice to "Vintage" and did not hear any difference in the tone at all.
  7. Thanks Ted. Exactly the answer I was looking for. Yes , I was talking about the Pattern Sequencer. I'm very new to song writing on a sequencer but I think I need to figure out the chord patterns, and riffs first before adding drums.
  8. Anyone know if the piano voices on both of these keyboards are the same, or is the 330 piano an upgraded voice?
  9. Hi folks! Guess I'll get the ball rolling here. I have just started learning how to sequence on the 7500. Away from that kb now but the drum sequence comes up first and I prefer staring the song on an instrumental riff or chord pattern. Can you start with that first rather than drums?
