Rhythm Conversion: Yamaha to Casio
Antonio replied to calamann's topic in WK-7500/7600 - CTK-7000/7200
Hi, My macro was not provided for conversion between different CASIO rhyth formats, but you can open rhythm file in it, reassign voices and other parameters and save as AC7 format.. May be it will work)) But, as "T" wrote, modern models can accept older formats to work with them. I have CTK-7000, and it can do this. But, the process is little more complex (CKF becomes to not an original AC7), but generally it's true -

Rhythm Conversion: Yamaha to Casio
Antonio replied to calamann's topic in WK-7500/7600 - CTK-7000/7200
As I wrote, my macro is not Yamaha-to-Casio, but MIDI-to-Casio converter. So yamaha style recognizion is only a sweet option)) And because of more wide features of Yamaha styles, precise conversion Y-to-C in most cases is impossible. But this is an ancient version of macro, i'm working for version 3, with more wide capabilities. Meanwhile, meet the translated version of macro. http://casio.medivm.ru/casio_rhythm_converter_doc.html (special link) -

some explanation of my converer GUI - in english -
You can use sliders with setting "9-16" instead "<",">", "-" & "+". It's more flexible.

ОК, Richie. i'll try to explain 1. Copy factory rhythm to user rhythm. To do this, select the factory rhythm (source), press Pattern Editor, then (F+)menu, then Store, Select empty User Rhythm (target) slot. Press Enter (if slot isn't empty - will be prompt to repalce it) You have read only user style 2. Make needed part to be editable select pattern (e.g. Normal) by rhythm controller buttons, select part - Bass by < > buttons. Press Function+Pattern sequencer. In menu, select Part Edit -> Copy, Select Rhythm from source factory rhythm, and pattern and part needed to edit. (Sure?Yes) 3. Edit part conversion table (as well as other parameters) Return to menu (1 exit) and select PartPara. Change Table to 04. Press Exit until Store. Change slot to target user rhythm (as in p.1) Press Enter Replace?Yes Conversion table is changed to bass f-root I hope it will help

Try to edit a style with f-root conversion table for bass part

i tested my own suggestions.. the 2th one doesn't work. this command sets up "Chorus1" effect the 1st works bad when autoaccompanent is used - when it starts, mixer drops at style default values. i can offer 3rd option: you can set in mixer DSPLine to the part which don't use (for example 16). Then, in other parts Chorus will switch off
-
Ric, try this: 1. In the mixer, set chorus level for all parts to 0. The mixer settings should override tone settings. 2. From the external midi device (for example PC with DAW or MIDI OX) send the message: F0H 7FH 7FH 04H 05H 01H 01H 01H 01H 02H 00H 00H F7H something of it can help. But, why do you want to switch off the chorus entirely, not for a particular part?

Hi, the implementation of DSP for Melodic polyphonic sounds looks like the one of Casio 7-series models: https://yadi.sk/i/VOaFOB7YkNDmo -
it is possible via using a computer with a DAW, or midi mapper (like MIDI-OX) program be sure, that an option Local On is set
-
Hi, you should use the mixer. 1st part - normal, 3rd - split

In Search of a "searchable" PDF of the Voices Insert
Antonio replied to showkster's topic in WK-7500/7600 - CTK-7000/7200
Search "PDF Password remover" in web. It works! -
Hi! You can add tones only created for CASIO 6x 7x series. Or create them yourself via Tone Editor.

Rhythm Conversion: Yamaha to Casio

I made this program in VBA Excel because it was more easy to me than in VB - legal Excel is more available in Russia, than Visual studio. And make programs in it is more faster )) Also i made converter for my personal use, i didn't know, that it will become so requested. I transformed some earier version of VBA converter to EXE by request of Casio-Russia (it is non-trivial job), but i can't distribute it due copyright obligations. -

i didn't get any error like this. May be, it is related somehow to your chinese locale.. How you can use only Russian? May be, English version of Windows helps you? Or some of old versions of Excel (e.g. 2003) -

it seems like it is multitrack file, but with channel to set to 1 on each track - it is how my sonar shows me a song and tries to "Save As" midi 1 file. but events in midi can have their own midi-chanels. and its strange thing, that converter got confused with it - sty files are also midi 0, but they are converted ok (SFF1) to download a cakewalk or sonar - is good idea. instruments you can change directly on keyboard, but i didn't like a resulting harmony of chords. keep in mind, that you can load "par" file to reuse my converision parameters, insted to setup yours ones. -

you have to setup the converter settings like this: https://yadi.sk/i/s4C1JxrdgUJHr (using A and B variations) some examle of style https://yadi.sk/d/7VKxzgttgUJHp but - i wrote it yet - yamaha styles are more complicated than casio styles and not fully compatibles so the result style sounds like kakophony -
