well did a complete disassembling and cleaning of all parts from the Keys also i have added some felt under der Hammers to prevent those rumors. now it really feels tight and better. Not silent as my TP10 fatar but very nice again.

my PX5S Keys are going to be unusable lot of rattling and clacking makes playing the PX5S a nightmare. nothing is broken but when the keys come up the force of the Key is making noise against the housing....some keys are really wobbling. i am in the mood to open it and to a repair. My question did some put some extra felt in it ? having same problem? what kind of Grease is used inside the PX5s does anyone repaired this and have some tipps ? Kindly Maurizio

laste week a i played my PX5 for the first time after a long period and playing the G3 Key Booom loudness on 128 ....no velocity at all ...i tried to hit the key bit harder and i went away...after few days same again hittinfg the key soflty comes out with a velocity near 128 .....same again an again .... any Tipps`? Kindly Maurizio

HI there my idea was to recreate the whole Drum Setups from my RS70 to have them inside the PX5S. So i have recorded every Drumpattern into midi on Cubase starting the drums with start and autostop after 4 Beats....this works fine ....then i have transfered every Patch with the PX5S Software to a phrase Bank on my Casio... also i did a quick new Drumsetup having the same drums assigment as the RS70. If i start the any drum pattern it sounds quite slim with an effekt like it´s beeing doubled when it was recorded....!!???....any idea can this be happen `?? i can upload the recorded patterns if someone like to test it... Also i think Casio should give us a little update with GM °drumaps ...some more Arrpeggios and the ability to name the Phrases it really bad having a lot of work and then after transfering the phrases you see 100 Drumpattern al with the same hyrogliphic name......

mostly i play the PX5S .of course now i have ordered a real MasterKeyb with knobs and sliders to controll the Softsynths andi will play the Proteus with it, the PX5S will be my Master for the Pianosounds .....

i I really need some help ...i cant figure out how to setup my MIDI the best way.........i have .... 1. PX5S as my master fpr Piano and all sound with hammered feeling.---- 2. Roland RS70 for Arpeggios and Drumpattern 3. Proteus 2000 for all other Synthstuff and EMU like Sounds... 4. Macbook with M-Track for Softsynths 5. Midisport 2x2 i would like to play the Proteus from both Synths.....having the setup to be ready working in Cubase and Sequenzing--- actually my PX5 goes to MidiSport IN (A) and MidiSport our ( A) goes tio the A input of the Proteus , RS70 out to MidiSport in ( and MIdisport out (B) to Proteus input Port B midi out Proteus goes to my M Track to record RIFFS ... of course i can use both USB port from the PX5S and the RS70 but i have noises...anyway...... i think some is wrong and my setup is not oklike this--- for now i did not use any midi true on the PX5S and the RS70 .... CAN SOMEONE HELP ME ? CANI MAKE A BETTER SETUP OR DO I NEED A 4 X 4 MIDI PORT ? THANKS MAURIX

i wonder how you guys do the trick setting up a stage Patch to controll external equipment it´s easy but giving every Zone a Name is tricky or i have to use the internal programm ( ex. Piano and so on ...) or i have to override the internal name to match my external patch ....? ! Or do you make empty programms with a corresponding name to the external patch `?----

i dont think....because you must programm every CC to the PX5S and the Pedal to work ....you can use the second Pedal input on the PX5 and assign any Midi message you like to it...

I am trying to route my PX5S into the Proteus to balanced Inputs ..if i use a both Side Balaced Cable nothing is playing ( routed to the MIX Output of the Proteus) if i take the plug just out 3mm i can hear the sound ,,so i tried with one side unbalanced in the PX5S and Balanced to the Proteus again no Sound i wonder how to fix this ,the Proteus has Balanced Input giving Input & Output at the same time ...but the PX5S i think has only Unbalanced ??

if i select sounds onmy PX5S my Proteus always jump to programm not found i assume the PX5S sends a programm number with channel where my Proteus does not have a RoM Expansion installed, if i set NRPN / and MSB LSB and Programm then in the single Zone i can select any programm i want inside the edit mode, if i save this and i go back to my patch i still can not select the right patches in my Proteus...drives me crazy today i have ordered a 61 Masterkeboard with all kind of possibilitys but i want my px to also work with my setup ... of course i am shure problem is on my side .... thx Maurix

i have added a Proteus 2000 to my setup ( yes i am nostalgic) .....playing the Arp from the PX5S and using the Proteus Synth Sound with all the filter sweeps patchbays...is more then amazing...there are sounds that blow me away even in the mix with the PX5S they sound nice togther. My biggest problem is the Arpeggio and Beat update made to the Proteus ...i can´t figure out how to load arp / beats in it ..even the 200 Patches inside are empty ...after reflashing and reflashing...maybe someone can tell me if there should be some Arp inside.... thx Maurix

well i miss a little bit the respones from MIke in here maybe is it better to ask on the new FB forums ? I wonder if Casio could add some more velocity Curves to the PX5S in a future update the difference betwenn hard normal and soft is to big....

well i have similar problem palying a Yamaha S03 sound thin and muffy and i have to turn off local .....it is different on my Kurzweil K2000R where i can setup some different Velocity Curvers having a lot of it inside....so i think this is a big problem into the PX%s havin only 3 different velocitiy curves , the S03 has 5 off it and the K2000R is able to let to setup a own one.... anyway i wonder if it is possible for Casio to add some " !!!!

did you try to set the String Reso and Damper Reso to 0 and listen to it maybe be resonance makes a part of it ,,,i hate the Stringreso set to 15 it is to present ,....in the pianos so i always use settings around 5 -7. Also try to set the filter to a differente setting and tweak with resonance, sometimes programming an underlaying sound in the Hexsection can alter the Pianosound thats wat i use to give more fullness or Punch to a Pianopatch ---

actually i am still using my K2000R wich for its time is a killer...the sounds are so warm and realistic...there´s something in Kurzweil Sounds i love....

i can have a PC3K6 for my PX5S i wonder how you value switching to a PC3K6 and getting a 88 weighted Masterboard ?! maybe someone ownes both and can help me for a decision ... i already have a K2000R but seems to be lot different for Kurz Sounds...

i wonder if there will be any future Firmware Updates oder improvement for the PX5S ore if it all dead and slowly time to sell it ? ....looking at Kurzweil they bust up sometime the Products... what i still miss is a big Phrase and Arpeggio Update,,,,today nearly small synth comes with 5000 Phrases or Arrpeggios i mean usable one´s.----and some tweaking of the Filters and Effects.....
