  1. Awesome, got myself a cheap usb audio interface from amazon so I should be in business soon! Thanks Scott
  2. Well, like I said, the keyboard does have an audio out port (size 1/4in). I have an adapter that has on one end a male 1/4in jack. On the other end is a female connection (size 3.5mm). On my computer, I don't have an audio in port, only USB (damn chromebooks!) What I am trying to do (since this model of keyboard doesn't have a record function) is record keyboard sounds on my computer. From there, I will use Audacity or a similar program to arrange the sounds/create loops/etc. You said that USB doesn't carry audio, does that preclude me from doing any of this since my computer doesn't have audio in?
  3. Thanks, the headphones included with the keyboard had a regular 3.5mm audio jack but then connected to a little adapter with a 1/4" jack at the end to fit into the keyboard. Can I use that adapter plus a USB to 3.5mm (male to male) for the purpose I stated above? Or will I need to buy a 1/4" to USB?
  4. I recently got a Casio CTK-2400 keyboard as a gift; this particular model has a USB port on the back of it, presumably for porting your tunes out onto a computer. I'm wondering if there's a particular software that I should be using that is compatible with Casio keyboards. I'd like to be able to play something on the keyboard and maybe be able to arrange it/loop it/etc. Does anyone have any experience with this?
