Saving a Drum Kit Change in Registration
jibin.jacob3 replied to moontom's topic in MZ-X500 / MZ-X300
I think you have to change the Drum kit for every part of the style i.e from "Intro" till the "End" individually. This is because if you change the Drum kit for the "Intro", only the "Intro" part of the style (Rythm) will load that drum kit while the other parts will play the default drum kit because you did not change those kits. (I'm not sure though) -
Few suggestions for CTKXXXX: 1. Number Pad for tone selection etc. (A must!) 2. Thumb drive slot. 3. Three or more buttons for Assignable Favourite Tones or for One Touch Tones to play with each Rythm. 4. If possible please give an option to keep the Internal Speakers on, when Headphones are connectedconnected 5. Fade out Button to end Rythm. Please also consider some extras like a modulation wheel or button.

Thanks a lot it worked!! Actually I had tried this before but I made a silly mistake. I pressed the Bank button and entered the FIRST REGISTRATION SLOT! (big mistake... As I only had to press the BANK button and shouldn't have entered the Registration Slot), and then I pressed the FUNCTION and CARD button together -- this did not work as it loaded the Midi files in the card. But when I pressed ONLY the BANK button, and then pressed the FUNCTION and CARD button together, it worked! THANKS!!

I'm using a Casio CTK6300IN Keyboard. I have saved the registrations to the computer, by using Data Manager Software. (from keyboard's USB to computer, cause i don't know how to save the registrations to the Memory card directly from the keyboard.) And then I transferred these registrations from my computer to the Memory card. Now... How do I load these registrations from the memory card onto my keyboard (CTK6300IN). (The registration file is in ".RM7" file format) . Someone please help! (If possible please do also tell me a way to save the registrations to the Memory directly from the keyboard. And this keyboard has the same Registration function as other CTK/WK Keyboards like CTK6200, CTK7200, WK 6600, WK7600 etc. I guess..)

Saving Registration Setups to memory Card

Have they installed some new sound engine? It doesn't sound like AHL.
-
Nice... but Casio should have at least upgraded the WK series with pen drive slots.
-
There seems to be a problem. I just saw the specifications of WK-240, and it seems like it does not have a Line Out . It only has a Phones/ Headphones Jack.
-
You might be using the Headphones Jack and not Line out. When you use the Headphones/ Phones Jack, the internal speakers don't work. While with the line out, the internal speakers will also work. Just check, whether you are using "Headphones/ Phones" or "Line Out".

Just wanted to know if Casio will launch the Keytar again. Actually, I was looking for a keyboard which had professional sounds and which would be really light weight (like below 5kg) . There is no need of built in speakers , recorder, SD Card if these lead to extra weight, but built in speakers will be great. Wireless speaker connectivity. Battery operated Good quality sounds and Rythms with knobs and sliders for instant playing. 49 keys are enough but not less than 32 keys Should be able to walk around and play.

There should be some leaks like in the case of smart phones.. Where there are certain leaks of Android phones which keep customers excited and also the customers will wait for the product (of the particular brand), and avoid buying a product of another brand. (Advantage to the company that leaks info of its upcoming product!)

Anything around $1500 and less, will do the trick I guess. (76 Keys and Bluetooth transmitter-for Headphones or other Bluetooth speakers are a must.)

Few more suggestions: Audio Recording Quality : 24bit 48khz USB 3.0 MIDI & Flash Drive (Might solve latency issues) After Touch (If possible
