I've been going in circles for months trying to get reaper to send MIDI bank/program changes to my xwp1. Anyone successfully had theirs receive changes while in performance mode? I could use some help.

I was thinking about trying something. I have an Android phone and i have an app that has pads to trigger different sounds and i want to connect it to the stereo input of my XWP1. I wonder if anyone has tried it And if you have to do any type of setup. I have some sound pads by the Eurythmics (Sweet dreams) Thanks.

When adjusting the volumes in the mixer, channels 1, 14, and 16 are moving all together. How do I get these to move independently so that I can mix the performance properly?

I'm looking at Reason 10 and Komplete 11 and Steinberg Absolute 3. Opinions anyone?

What I have already bought: Nice little asus 2 in 1 laptop/tablet with touch screen, 16 gb, 512 gb ssd. Used xwp1 at my local (asheville) guitar center. Bought the computer to run software (says Captain Obvious) and the keyboard to input notes. So really what software should I buy? Also interested in the interesting stand alone capabilities of the xwp1. Some cool synth functions there, it appears.

I just want to ask if anyone here has or knows where to find patches for my XWP1 that are similar to the vintage sound of the ARP Pro Soloist. I specifically need sounds close to the ones that Tony Banks uses in Genesis' Riding The Scree. I would be very grateful if someone can give me an answer about this. Good day to you all

Hi, I have searched over the forums, and the companion, and the midi implementation, and the faq and am still having trouble with this. I am using MIDI cables to connect to my xw-p1 to my computer to use LMMS (Ableton is a bit over budget right now) to use some additional sounds with the synth. The computer is picking up the signal and playing it out of the computer, but i cant seem to get the sound back into the xwp1 to play through the output on the xwp1(It just plays whatever tone is selected on the synth). I think i am missing a major step in this process. Any help would be great. I tried reading through the manuals but i might just be a rookie at understanding the technical language of what is actually happening. Apologies if this has already been explained somewhere and i happened to miss it. Big thanks to anyone who can point me in the right direction here...

Alright I have a question that might be stupid but it's stumping me and figure someone on here might be able to help. I have a Casio XWP1, it's about two years old now, and I was wanting to hook up a midi foot controller to it to be able to switch between patches/tones. What are all the things that need to be enabled on the keyboard for it to recognize the controller and do I need to move my tones into the performance function for it to be able to switch between them. I've been looking specifically at the behringer fcb1010 if anyone already uses one and could even help with the controller set-up.
