Hello everyone I call as "default tone accomp" the one that you can listen if you follow the steps: Press the button "ACCOMP ON/OFF"; Play a key at "Auto Accompainment keyboard" area. I would like to know how to change the default tone of accomp. I've already tried to use the Mixer to change the tone (Part 11, Part 12, Part 13, Part 14), but after I change it when I press some key it just changes back to default ones (GM Finger Bass, GM Piano 1, GM Nylon GT, GM Strings 1) respectively. I would like accomp to play a single tone (like "Midnight Sun") when I press some accomp key. Is that possible?

Hi, it has been an interesting journey to discover which workstation addresses my needs in a keyboard. I was considering the mzx500 but the acoustic sounds aren't realistic enough for my purposes. The SuperNatural tones on the Roland FA-07 are the closest to real in my price range. However, the Roland lacks adequate rhytm patches. I have two questions: 1. Has anyone found a rhythm download of world and Latin beats for the MZX500? 2. Can I download the rhythm presets into the Roland FA-07. If so, what is the best way? my own observations on the Roland FA series are it is almost as easy to use as the 500 but lacks touch screen, velocity driven layers, and arpeggiator for more than one part while playing but has 76 keys, good graphics and ease of use. i also looked at the MOXF6 but was discouraged by the difficulty of use, poor graphics, layout, lack of velocity driven layering and 61 keys. Both the Roland and the Yamaha require outboard monitors. I know the experts on the forum know all this, but for the newbies looking for the right keyboard it points out some of the things worth thinking about to make a satisfying purchase. thanks for the help.

I'm new to Casio Forums and was very interested in the discussions concerning the X500. I have a Casio AT5 and have pushed it to the limit. Now I am looking for a new keyboard. I am living in Istanbul, so choices are limited but Casio and Yamaha are well distributed here. I have looked at the Yamaha A3000 and loved the key bed. However, with continued play I was disappointed with its super articulation sounds. Perhaps my expectations were too high, but I didn't get the realism Yamaha touts it for having. An example was the French horn. Even my AT5 seemed to do a better job. Trumpet was also a let down. The strings lacked immediacy, seemed to be coming at you from a distance. So,my question is, does the X500 do a better job at producing realistic sounds than the Yamaha? Also my AT5 uses AWN sound technology. How does this compare to the MXi? It's very interesting to get a picture of Casio's brand image and the struggle it must be involved in as whether to try and compete with more pro arrangers and workstations or stick to the casual home user. I personally think they should go for it. I owned a Privia once and that sold me on Casio. I think of the Korean car makers in the US. Who wanted a car made in Korea? Well, lots!

Question all. Does anyone know where I can find a good video or instruction on how to create user arpeggios on the MZ X500? I've gone to the user arpeggio spot on the keyboard and I clicked edit. Once I'm there I'm not really sure what I'm looking at or what to do next. I think I even created an arpeggio last night but I don't know how I did it. lol Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Good 'm creating samples in the Sampler Manager program I create usually put step to the keyboard and they take 2 to 3 seconds to appear worse when I pass them to a rhythm, because when I create rhythms with them the same wage if I use the same timbre to do a solo. ie the hardware seems to be supporting the Voices , even having enough room for it. I hope that Casio arrumo soon it because I spent some money to have this keyboard where it is with innumerable problems , the other it is the keyboard does not accept Timbres with effect but clues , or apply effect on another effect and erased , ie apply the Compressor effect on the battery if I apply another eFFECT on another instrument battery effect disappears .
