Definitive explanation of MIDI control.

Can someone explain how exactly external midi control works on this machine? Why when you go into midi ctrl the unit actually stops playing (totally bizarre)? What exactly are midi pages? Why was this all left out of the pdf manuals?

It's cool users are slowly figuring this out but is that what we should expect after spending money on one of these?

you configure it with the trackformer software. it makes the pads and pots and faders send midi note or controller data. The sequencer rings become pages so it might be as much as 16 banks of controller assignments
