Tone Edit -- does not work correctly.

Recommended Posts

Tone Edit.

The Rev.Send parameter does not save custom values. (Some tones)
Resets by default. (40)

TONE EDIT
When setting the parameter - Rev.Send
Does not save a custom ( user )  value. Resets to the default. ( 40 )
For -   to work the saved value, press the user tone button twice.

Only pressing twice - the set parameter Rev.Send will work

Tone for verification (if anyone can check).
Clean GT M
Crunch Gt M1 (M2)
GM SF

P.S. If it is  the processor and it is weak.
Then I'll look at other synthesizer manufacturers in the future.

I'm upset.

Reverb Send is one of the parameters that are saved when the modified tone is stored in UserTones.     Refer in the manual to section E44 for the WK7500.  There is a chart that lists the various tone edit parameter that are saved.     Pay particular attention when saving to UserTone.    It is easy to save or overwrite an existing tone previously saved.   Best to have listened to the saved UserTones before making a decision as to which number to save the tone.   When calling up your saved tone with the modified reverb send, it should be loaded along with any other of the parameters you modified.    When saving make sure you get the message -  Pls Wait  and do not press any other keys till the save is complete.    Many believe when modifying the tone will save the original tone and parameters as the new tone.    But the original tone will always load with the factory defaults.     You must load from UserTone [    ] to get the modified sound.

Reverb Send is one of the parameters that are saved when the modified tone is stored in UserTones.....

I say.

It is necessary to press the button (UserTones) TWO times. Only then does it work.

------------------------------------------

Thanks for the answer.

But I did not understand well what you're talking about.

Perhaps you did not understand me. (I do not speak English well)

-----------------------------------------

I'm telling you that the parameter (Reverb Send )  does not work when the tone is stored in USERS.
It resets to the factory settings. Reverb Send ( 40 )  The parameter that stands before editing .

But .... It works with the required parameters, only when the button is pressed again (users tones).

P. S.  Resetting the parameter by default affects certain tones.

---------------------------------------------

Try it.
1. Change the parameter -- Rever Send
It is saved. --- User Tones

2. Then work with other tones or other operations.

3. Then turn the tone again. ( User Tones )  It will not work with the saved settings.
It must be pressed TWO times.---
then your configured parameter  ( Rever Send ) will work

I modified those tones you listed changing the Rev Send  on my WK7500.   Each and every saved tone was saved with the modified value.    I only had to save it once or recall it once from User Tones.

Is your keyboard new or used?    I suspect that the buttons are dirty or not making good contact.    If the keyboard is new, that would be a warranty repair.   Cleaning the contacts requires disassembly.

Thanks for the answer. Vorbis

The keyboard is absolutely new and even guaranteed.

I have 7200.
This is a problem not only for me, but there are still users with 6200 - the same problem.
He addressed the forum and I decided to check.
I have the same problem as his.

I do not think this is a button. This is apparently a keyboard processor problem.

---But this works fine if the DSP on----------

Have you tried playing with other tones, playing rhythms on the keyboard?
What happened when you again returned to this tone?

------------------

P.S.

I did it, that he would keep the tone and work normally with the necessary parameters.

Tone edit.
Enable DSP
tone: Enhance
Type DSP-04
There is this parameter
Rev Send . ( I can create it as needed and it will work.)

When DSP is on, it works normally. Although it will show 40 by default.

I now checked again.
Clean GT M Tone
1. Press Tone Edit.
Go to the parameter - Rev. Send
2.  For example.  Change it to 079
Save the tone (User Tones).
Now he plays with the parameter 079.

But ..... turn on then other tones, play rhythms with them.
Then go back to User Tones and see what the Clean GT M parameter will be.
It shows again by default 040.
But it's worth a second click on the button and it plays normally and you can then see that the parameter is 079.

And so every time.

-----------------------------

This is not a problem with the button.
Because it happens with certain tones.

I have had tones get corrupted by changing back and forth to different tones then back to the first tone selected.   I think this is what you are experiencing.    I use a saved registration to set up tone profiles for a particular song which would include all the tones I want to play within that song.    Try setting up a registration and see if that helps.   Otherwise you will probably have to hit the button twice to get back to your original settings.

Vorbis.

Everything is right.
It is saved only in the bank cell.

------------

Click mixer and there set the same value that you set up.
If it's necessary with the style (get out of the mixer) and then save it all in the cell of the bank.
When awake to play with this tone it should work as you set up.
The tone with the settings will be saved in the bank cells.

This I wrote for another user - when checking
----------------

P.S.  Your correctly noted --- Probably some tones get corrupted
