If you take a rhythm (what I actually think of as a STYLE but they seem to call rhythm) and just click MIXER, you can adjust volumes and change sounds, yes..but you can’t save them! Stupid design for an otherwize great machine for the price, agreed? I called Casio and they told me this was not possible. But you CAN! Just pick a pattern..style..rhythm..whatever you want to call it, go to PATTERN SEQUENCER, then press the variation that you want to edit...Normal, fillin, variation ...whatever, then hit the left right arrow in the R17 area (under exit, enter buttons) and then hit MIXER button. You can then adjust whatever. When done, hit FUNCTION and STORE at same time and it will be stored in a USER RHYTHM area. Then you can hit the STORE and BANK button and store it to a registration.
