Skrasny
If I send midi out to a computer DWS e.g. Logic Pro, or garage band set up for midi recording, is just the key sequence, pressure, etc recorded and tones in the DWS used or is info sent on which Casio tones are selected and conditioned, and if Casio, are they sent from the keyboard as general midi or the more Casio specific tones. In other words suppose I select a Casio non general midi tone on the keyboard, then want to send it to a computer to record as midi, then play it back by sending midi to the keyboard from the computer, will it still be thee same Casio non general midi tone? I have a ctk3500 Thanks!
- T -
Yes, but the CTK-3500 only transmits its tone selection data as the selection is made from the front panel, so the computer based software recorder will have to be running as the selection is made.
