Tsquare
Warning! Grab a cup of coffee and don't operate heavy equipment while listening to this............sleepytime music. Satie wrote 3 Gymnopedies (ceremonial choral dances performed at ancient Greek festivals). This is versions #1 & #3. I skipped #2 since it's kind of blah. I recorded each separately with the midi recorder and then "glued" them together in one file. m10538
👏👏! Nicely played! The mix of piano and strings is just right. Those are so lovely and so melancholy. Just right for falling asleep to, good thing I'm about to go to bed!
Tsquare
Thanks m10538. I ended up making a custom string sound for this one.
Tsquare
Update 10-8-19: I remixed this piece using the new Piano Noire tone that Mike Martin created: I replaced the grand concert piano of the original with the new Noire Piano and then copied this track for the additional Sub Sine hex tone. I then removed the sustain pedal inputs from the Sub Sine track. I like the new sound.......much deeper. Noire Gymnopodies 1_3.mp3
