JLi
My PX-300 has worked in the past, with my Mac. I have an iMac Pro now, which may or may not need setup steps in Utilities>Audio MIDI Setup. I have a duplicate of the same cable I always used before AND a different USB-MIDI cable. The Casio MIDI OUT to the MIDI cable IN. I hear electrical pops/clicks when I depress or release the keyboard keys (with no onboard volume), but Garageband will not play any sounds from my playing the CASIO. I have no idea whether something went kaput in the CASIO or if there are other settings I have yet to get right. On page E-23 of the PX-300 manual, I've done all the CONTROL functions and tested them in every configuration, but still nothing. PLEASE HELP! CASIO Support is NO HELP! Casiofun
Your Mac does not seem to recognize your audio interface. What audio interface are you using to connect the PX300 to your Mac? Have you loaded the software driver for the audio interface on your Mac. If so is it compatible with the version of Mac OSX you are using? Is local control turned off on the PX300?
